I got a kif press and have the general idea down. Unscrew, put kif in between the plastic, rescrew and let sit, occasionally screwing it tighter. Looking around the internet though, I saw slight variations in the methods.

One suggested that once you screw it together, you put it in the freezer for 4 hours. Another suggested letting it sit in room temperature for 8 hours. The 3rd, a slightly different recipe, called for boiling water, double-bagging the press, taking the pan off the heat and submerging the press in it.

Does anyone have experience with either/all of these methods? Which seems like it would work better? Any input is appreciated, thanks

freezer will just make the keif harder to press room temp works but u can put it ina heat proof bag boil it for a min or so not too long so it dont get real hot then take it out and screw it tighter it will screw alot tighter..then put it in freezer to get it cold cuz it will be sticky most likely and pop yer peice of hash out. dont worry if its black or brown because thats just a combination of melted trichomes and oxidation. and remember pressure = heat so yeah have fun and smoke a peice of yer hash for me
