Green Dragon/Tea hybrid?

nb I haven't thought this through.

Just ran across a thread about mj tea. Treating mj like regular tea - steeping it in hot water - is, as far as I can tell, utterly hopeless as a method of ingesting cannabis.

BUT -

several people report having very tasty tea - tastes like bud smells - which doesn't get them high.

Hmmm... Are the flavor compounds water-soluble? The terpenes & other volatile perfumey-type-things?

Which leads me to think of the water cure I've read about - soaking cured bud in water in order to dissolve out the various water-soluble things one doesn't want in one's concentrate - chlorophyll, etc.

SO: As the start of a water-cure, you make tasty, inactive tea. With your water-cured bud, you make presumably cleaner Green Dragon.

Take the one with the other...once you get the time-step dance down, wouldn't you get a tea-like bev both tasty & effective? Or would the hash oil just precipitate out & stick to the side of the cup?

seems like there might be some possibilities here.
