Well, I don't know about the strength of the bud you used, or the efficiency of your kitchen technique, both of which could make a big difference in the potency of your finished tincture, but -
I use 4 g bud in the 4-5 oz of 151 (rum or everclear), which reduces to ~2 oz of finished tincture. A half-teaspoon of my stuff is a pretty considerable dose for anyone but those with very high tolerance. You used more than twice as much herb, & then took two tablespoons. 1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoons. So you took 12 times the dosage of tincture that may have been twice as strong. Yeah, maybe you took too much. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
