It seems that no matter how much water I drink, my urine retains a yellowish tint. I guess this is a good thing but it leaves me quite uncertain as to whether my dilution is working.

I mean, it's clearer than it would be if I hadn't drank 80 ounces of water, but it still looks sort of yellow. So what the hell?

drink more thats not even a gallon. it will go clear

I don't know man, I've been doing the dilution thing for several weeks so far and no matter how much I drink it retains a yellowish tint.

80 ounces is only how much I've drank so far today, I do way more than that by the time of my test, and sure enough it's always kept the color.

damn.... when i was a kid i was drug tested until my parents went broke by my school and pretty much all through school never heard of that prob. becasue everyone would just try and piss diluted and once they pissed clear thought they where good but that isnt always the case.

Are you taking any vitamans? certain herbs or teas will do that to.. Green tea pills will

why not just substitute? All that water has your kidneys running overtime! Might not feel it now but what about a few years from now?

do you take B vits or eat food high in B's? they will be excteted and cause a yellow tint. And I agree drink more water! ive only done it once for a test but I know I drank well over a gallon inside of three hours!

Yep, agree with t4dr Vit. B and other things will turn it yellow. Nothing wrong with it, on a normal day.

I believe Fake Boobs Rule (I think-get a little confused, since it is in a few user signatures) Anyway, it says something like, drinking lots of water just makes you piss more. Not effective way of testing neg!

Sorry, you are in the position you even have to test. When they test for alcohol, stupidity and free-loading perhaps I'd go along with testing. At least we'd have some workers out there.

Hahaha, I don't mean to be so contrary but nah, I usually don't take any vitamin supplements.

I suppose it doesn't matter, got tested yesterday afternoon and (they tell me the results from the last week's test each friday) either my metabolism is keeping me in the clear or my dilution is, because I still didn't fail and I had smoked tons of weed on wednesday, just one "clean" day in between. This is the 5th one I've passed so far, with usually just two days of abstaining.

Also, I drink lots of water every day just because I like drinking water. At least 4 liters a day, so maybe my kidneys are used to lots of water and can maintain the yellowish tint even when I drink 3 liters in an hour and a half or so. I don't know, but I'm glad it's so damn easy to pass these drug tests, I didn't expect it to be this way at all.
