i became a roughneck for a major drilling company. i know i might get flamed for that but c'mon, who can beat 60k a year plus bonuses? i used to smoke alot and now i dont because randoms are a motherfucker. taken 4 since i started.

ok i work 7 days and rest 7days. now lets say i smoke on a sunday night on my last work day, is it possible if i was hit with a random on monday afternoon on my first workday, would i pass? of course i would work out and try to sweat it out. and i drink beer like it's going out of style. so i would pee a lot. \\

please help. any answers are greatly appreciated

Look into the dillution method, doing lots of work and sweating and burning fat is bad if you want to pass your UA...

It has been said that a one-time high on a otherwise THC free body will take 3-5 days to test clean. (but how much will you smoke on Sunday night? - and how much fat do you have?)

Buy some home tests (online at under $2 a piece) or buy the expensive ones at the drug stores. Drinking liquids prior to your test and peeing a lot does not help rid your body of the THC. You can exercise all week but stop a couple of days prior to starting back to work. Take your hometest on the weekend. If you can pass your first void of the day, you probably wouldn't have to dilute much to pass your Monday random.

It's totally possible that you could smoke Sunday and pass (a week from) Monday.. but since everyone is different, the hometest would let you know.

Still, if you can't work out a fool-proof way to be 100% sure you'll pass is it worth it to risk $60K plus benefits? Then there's the anxiety wondering if you'll get tested & if you'll pass. Only you know what works for you.

is it worth it? not really. anxiety is a bitch and if it don't happen at the beginning of the week, it probly won't happen. but who's to say they won't give me a drug test at the beginning. they rarely ever give drug tests unless there's a rat or an accident.

a friend of mine that started at the same time would smoke all the time. i was even in the car one time and him puffin away. and i asked him aren't you scared of being drug tested? he said he had one of those drinks for detox. but these bastards give a time limit. something like 2 hours or so. if you dont pee your fired. that was like 2 years ago. i recently asked him if he's gotten drug tested in the whole time he's been with the company and he said never. just upon entering the company. ain't that some shit. oh well. thanks guys i'll probably just do what i do right now. kill my liver.

just my thoughts but is it worth all the stress and worry. youve made it this far. How much does you job mean to you, can it be replaced?

is it worth it? no. can it be replaced. yes. and pretty fast. but i have come to the grimm conclusion i will never smoke marijuana again. thanks guys. the guilt trip always works. maybe in another life
