I have a couple of other threads here about what I am trying to do to get this out of my system but I have a new question.

Here goes:

What is to be considered a heavy user? Or better yet, what would you consider me if I tell you all how much and how long I smoked.

I am 32 years old, 5'10" 185 lbs.

Sept. 10th was the first time in my life I ever smoked weed. (to control nausea from Oxycontin that I was prescribed, nothing else worked, i was vomiting all day every day so I gave weed a try; it worked) I went through $20.00 of really strong weed by the 24 of Sept. I would take 1 hit about 3 times a day during this time. After the 24th of Sept. I bought weed 3 more times from 3 different people but it was horrible. It was nothing like the first batch and it did not help with the nausea. So I threw it out by Monday only to try again the next Saturday. I was not smoking anything during the week. This went on for 3 weekends ending on the 18th of Oct. Each time I Tried to get high and it did not really work. At the most I felt a little weird in the head but nothing like the first batch and it was doing nothing to help my stomach no matter how many hits I took.

The 18th was the last batch and that stuff was horrid, it burned my throat and no matter how many hits I took it did nothing but make me sicker; I threw that shit out and have not touched anything since.

Now I am asking this question because I am trying to figure out about when I should try to go back to work. I know no one can tell me when it will be safe to take a drug test and pass, but I want to try to get some kind of Idea. Everything I have read says it depends on what kind of user you were and for how long you used. Here is my story, what do you all think?

After rereading my post I was not really clear on how I smoked after I went through the first batch of strong stuff on the 24th of Sept.

I did not have any weed between the 25th of Sept-4th of Oct. The fourth is when we first tried to get more but it did not work. we got it Saturday I tried to smoke during the weekend and by Monday I was so frustrated I threw it out. This went on 3 weekends in a row ending on the 18 of Oct. Each weekend I would buy some from someone else, it turned out to be crap and I would toss it within a day or two. I would try a few hits Saturday night and a few on Sunday but it would not help so I would toss it to only try again the next Saturday.

I want to know this because there are some decent estimates on how long it will take to clear your system but they all say it depends on what type of user you are. What do you all think.

You should be clean fairly quick, I'd say to be safe wait 3-4 weeks before your last smoke.. I know people who have smoked for years and passed within a month of not smoking, and this is 4-5 times a day every day.

This is what I thought.

I am not having a problem not smoking but I am having a major problem with not taking my pain pills anymore. Im trying to detox as fast as I can and I think I am about to have a complete breakdown. I have been on Percocet, Oxicontin and muscle relaxers for almost a year and I quit it all cold turkey 6 days ago. This hurts and I feel really bad. I had no clue I was this dependent on this stuff.

I know what you're feeling.. 10 days after the oxycontin and you shouldn't feel the withdrawls and constant switching of tiredness/ awakeness. As for the pain, I hope you can figure something out and make it manageable in order to assist you getting off the opiates. I hope everything works out with you man..

This has been the longest 20 days of my life. The time is going by so slow. It has been 44 days from the last use of the strong stuff and 20 days from the last use of the weak crap that I dont even think was weed, if it was it was horrible. I bet I could pass with no problem now but I am paranoid so I was planning on waiting to the 24 of Nov (My birthday by the way) and then going down and paying for my own drug test at a clinic just to be totally sure I am completely clean. If I wait till then it will be 61 days from the strong suff and 37 from the super weak crap.

Question, If I pass that test am I golden or can your body all of a sudden flush more thc and give you a positive on a later test. Sorry if this question sounds crazy but I am still just so worried. This is the only thing I have thought about for weeks now, its driving me nuts. I don't know how you all are able to deal with this on a reg basis.

1 more question; I have been hanging around reading allot of the posts and I have seen a few people that are still testing positive on at home test with a cut off of 50ng after 36, 60 and even 100 days. Is this something I should worry about given my usage history or were these people smoking massive amounts of strong crap that would make my usage look like nothing.

I would almost bet that you are already clean. With your history I wouldn't even be concern about being dirty. Most of the post you spoke about are probably from long term smokers. THC builds up in body fat over time. Get you a test and test your FIRST urine of the morning. I would wish you luck on morning test results, but I don't think you will need luck.

I bet that I would be cool right noe too but there is really no reason for me to be impatient at this point. I am a driver for the studios and we are coming up on the really slow season because of all the hollidays. I found about 20-35 days of crappy night work that will pay me about 100.00 bucks a night from now till January, its not what I am used to pay wise but its better than nothing. The waiting is whats really driving me crazy. The one good thing about this temp job I found is that it consists of about 5-6 miles of walking each night I go out so I will have plenty of cardio to help burn anything that still might be in my system. I just really hope my normal job picks up in January and I can get back to making some real cash.

Don't know if you would consider this....BUT....while you are naturally clean, why not store some of your own urine in the freezer. It's good for a 1 - 1 1/2 years in air tight containers. When that right job comes along you won't have to fret about buying or finding a clean sample. I try to advocate freezing and using one's own clean urine for subbing after subbing with my own for 8 months for my PO.

You know, I never would have thought that I would EVER have tried pot until I had the medical problem that led me to the experimenting with the weed. I made it 32 years without ever trying it and I thought I never would. I have to admit, I loved being high. Not only did it keep me from being sick but I felt wonderful. I don't know how it effects all of you guys but my experience with the really strong stuff was great. The first night I smoked it it took about 10 min to take effect, wow. I did smoke to much that first night and I started getting really panicky, The whole next day I was in a cloud, it felt like groundhog day. I could do something or talk to someone and five min. later I would do it again because I forgot. It was crazy. It was so strong I almost gave it up. I then got really sick so I took another small hit that night and that's when the love started. I figured out the right amount to smoke to get me high and take care of the nausea without overdue it like the first night. I never felt so good in my life. Food tasted way better (I gained some weight) and sex was outstanding. The sex part really caught me off guard. I thought pot made you lazy and lifeless but boy was I wrong. It totally enhanced all my feelings and taste buds. My wife noticed right away too. Marathon sessions, multiple times, I just completly loosened up. At first I would only smoke when I was really sick but a few days into it I would smoke everynight before we went to bed to prepare for the fun. This is what I will miss the most.

I hate my job. This whole drug test stuff is crap. I would qualify in an instant for the medical MJ but that does not matter at all in my line of work. I have it in me I get axed. I am 27 days clean from the crap pot that never made me high and 50 days clean from the stuff I loved and will dearly miss. I am probably clean now or damn near close and I would love, love to freeze some urine for future tests but that would never work for me because of how they test. I live hours away from work, I am there 12-16 hours a day, normally leaving my house at 3 in the morning. When they call for the random its normally about 10-11:00 am and I have to be there in a short amount of time. I could never drive all the way back home, defrost and heat and drive back to the test site. I know I could always buy the fake pee but I would also be playing with fire, one mess up and there goes my job. The only reason I am still putting up with this job is because when I work I make allot of money. My wife and I have always wanted to open a restaurant, I really think I might try to make that happen in the next few years. I could be my own boss, set my own hours and be pain free and high all I like. Until that time I will envy all of you guys while I am painfully pot free.

God I wish I was high!!!!!!!!!!!!
