Im subjected to random dot test at work , ive been using the urinator/minute man synth urine which worked flawlessly about a year.(had 2 randoms in 6mos) ....I read somewhere soon dot test are going to be observed soon..wtf?....i hope i read wrong....After my boss called told me i had to go , i filled er up, plugged in the two 9v, it stayed perfect 98 deg for hours...even though it was so simple to sub , there would be no way to uncap and hold the cup with some dude watchin..quitting would suck

i was just on the dot website,seems like...if they catch you or theres evidence of tampering THEN they will observe you directly...???

I sure you have heard of the whizinator. I have heard lots of good & bad things. Personalley i have used it once for an observed PO test. It worked, but i was so anxious the whole time. I undid the clasp while he was behind filling the paper out and pinched the tip. When he came around with the cup i unpichned it and filled it up. You have to be very carful with the clasp or it will make a very obvious clicking. (I am working on modifying the clasp, i will post when finished) It took nerves of steel, lots of practice with it, and some luck thrown in there. BEWARE THOUGH, do a search for "Whizinator caught" and read the horror stories. In my county, using a whizzinator is a felony

As of 8/25/08, observers are required by the DOT to check for delivery devices like the whizzinator:

If the collector is not the observer, the collector must instruct the observer about the procedures for checking the employee for prosthetic or other devices designed to carry “clean” urine and urine substitutes AND for watching the employee urinate into the collection container.

● The observer requests the employee to raise his or her shirt, blouse or dress / skirt, as appropriate, above the waist, just above the navel; and lower clothing and underpants to midthigh and show the observer, by turning around, that the employee does not have such a device.

● If The Employee Has A Device: The observer immediately notifies the collector; the collector stops the collection; and the collector thoroughly documents the circumstances surrounding the event in the remarks section of CCF. The collector notifies the DER. This is a refusal to test.

● If The Employee Does Not Have A Device: The employee is permitted to return clothing to its proper position for the observed collection. The observer must watch the urine go from the employee’s body into the collection container. The observer must watch as the employee takes the specimen to the collector. The collector then completes the collection process.

Failure of the employee to permit any part of the direct observation procedure is a refusal to test.

Shit like this really gets me angry. So what if I just object on personal privacy to you watching me piss. thats the same? I had to do this on a weekly basis in HS to the point I would just walk in gab the cup and piss while walking. LOL, all to piss off the only school nurse (female). Honestly, Ill just never work for anyplace that makes me do this. Fucking degrading.

Theforthdrive, A donor is still allowed to pee in private on a DOT test. That part of the DOT regs remains unchanged.

However, if a donor gets caught submitting "cold" samples or otherwise tampering, then the donor loses that right to pee in private and thats where the direct observation procedures come in.

Just wink and blow the observer a couple of kisses, wigglle it a few times he will get embarrest and walk away, If not then you have a date for later.

OH MY.....I have just had the biggest laugh I have had in a spell in this forum. ROFLMAO That felt almost as good as a toke.

EDIT: Even the thought of the words will bring back that laugh.....
