yes i know there is a niacin sticky...but it has mixed replies...and no1 really says if they have used it successfully...i have a UA in 5 days... i didnt smoke for a 3 week period and then i smoked 2 hits 2 days ago... so im a little worried i might show up dirty...i just went and bought some niacin and took a 500mg dosage (burned me to hell) im wondering if this is even gonna be effective...


anyone who has used niacin please tell me if it worked...

Isn't Niacin taken to make your diluted piss look yellow? I've taken it the past, along with a gallon of H20 and passed a test, being only clean for a week.

Pretty sure its just to be used during dilution methods - to cover up your intentionally diluted piss.

Niacin is a myth. It does nothing to help pass a U/A.

And let me explain this a bit further...

The niacin myth got its start over four decades ago by an individual with no training and experience in the medical field, L. Ron Hubbard - the founder of the Scientology cult (do a Google search on L. Ron Hubbard and niacin).
Hubbard conducted a "study" that by sitting in a sauna and ingesting niacin would remove residues of a certain (off-topic) hallucinogen and prevent "flashbacks" which were running rampant at the time. The thing is, there has not been (and still is not) a shred of evidence that can substantiate Hubbards claim.

Then some "brilliant" pothead, obviously acting under a garbled understanding, took the claim ..."Hey, if this gets rid of residues of hallucinogens, it must also get rid of THC residues"... What needs to be understood is that drug tests look for drug metabolites - not residues.

The myth had been born.

And a myth that still persists today because of people that have taken niacin before a drug test and passed, only to not realize that it was the large amounts of water that was consumed with the niacin that brought the THC metabolite concentration of the urine sample under the tests cutoff limit, thus a pass. The niacin was wrongly given credit when the real hero was the water. Its all about the water.

Niacin has no effect on the ridding of THC. Only time and fat-burning exercise can rid the body of THC.

okay niacin is a supplinment that helps you burn that stuff with exercises. i have always used pure creatine. i take 10-15 capsules 6 hours before my test. The way the creatine works is that it pulls water from all over your body and pushes it to your muscles. so what does your body do with excess water in your blood you piss it out. i only take it with one glass of water. and i will only let my self piss once before the test. Then an hour before i go tak it i chugg a 32 oz pop for color. so really creatine is masking using your own bodies water, but where the creatine comes in handy is that if you drink straight water and pass and then they test you bodies natural creatin level it will show up low and they will fail you for masking but if you take all of that creatine, it masks using water and your creatine level will show up normal or high. yes labs test you creatin level it how they make sure people dont chugg a ton of water to pass there test. i have been doing this method for 10 years and only failed twice. due to the fact i miss timed my drugs test and by the time i took it the creatin was out of my system, if you look at the back of most drinks from head shops the main ingredients are Niacin, Creatine, and Viatimen B12. These do not flush your body, you cant not flush your body without exercise. This is just masking. And i have a very fast metabolism and a few of my friends who have done the same thing also have fast metabolisms, so i bet that is a factor

Niacin was used to beat the Navy's drug tests (one of the first MJ tests developed), but that was 30 years ago, or more ... the test developers included a niacin scan in there long ago, so best ya keep looking, niacin ain't gonna do ya any good ... besides, the amounts that were necessary in those days, turned sailors' skin orange for awhile ... same non-results using bleach in the samples, etc., (while looking for THC, the tests also look for assorted cloaking agents ...

laaaame...i have a $15 bottle of niacin that is worthless?!?!? damn it!


i have been jogging a lot ( 3 miles a day) and trying to sweat as much as possible... a long with drinkin lots of green tea...im hopin this will help in some way... i only have 5 more days till my tests so wish me luck ... i will let u guys know the results...with any luck my PO will forget to UA me

So should i need to flush my system from tokin' danks, should i go for a liquid system flush , like from GNC or a vitamin store, or should i just stick to the Niacin pills a few hours before a test? The piss test i will have to take is a cheap one from wal-mart.

dont buy that from GNC. THe best sure fire way stop smoking a week before. Go to the local gym and workout for a hour a day while drinking plenty of water and then go sit in the sauna for an hour with a bottle of ice water. the water is so you dont dehydrate because you will burn and sweat out your bodies impurities, hence why you feel better when you work out on a daily basis.
