So i am getting my self clean for a UA, and i think to myself the only other drug i take is a generic claratin called ALLERCLEAR (costco brand), so i was wondering could this possible cause a positive drug test for some type of illegal drug. The reason i ask is i would hate to clean myself of THC, take the drug test, smoke a fat hog leg,then quest calls me up to tell me to take a retake......so does anyone know the answer to this? has anyone passed a drug test while taking claratin. The active ingredient is called Loratadine 10mg per capsule taken everyday? Thank You for any help.

I doubt it, especially if you list it when you take the drug test

There really are no false-positives anymore. False-positives are eliminated when the lab runs a confirmation GC/MS test on the urine sample. The GC/MS can differentiate between OTC/scripted meds and illicit substances.
