Freaking out about Quick Fix Warning Thread

Soooo I read the Quick Fix Warning Thread as I was planning on using QF to sub on my pre-employment drug screen. I am currently freaking out because guess where I'm from: Oregon. My human resources lady looked up a lab for me to go to that was close to my house (I live an hour away from hopefully future employer). But then she also told me something like "Tell them I sent you and that it is through Bio-Med". So I'm thinking its pretty much a sure 'fail' to use QF at this point.

So the good news is that I have abstained from smoking for 15 days so far. I've been taking at home THC tests that I got at my local head shop. Yesterday I checked my first morning urine and got the faintest line ever. There was definitely a line but very faint. I just got done testing again (3rd pee of the day, no dilution) and got a much stronger negative line. So I'm negative- but yet still paranoid and still freaking out!

I have to take the test by Saturday at 4:00pm. So my question is: Should I follow the dilution sticky and dilute just to be safe? Or should I just submit undiluted/normal urine and stop being so paranoid? I guess I'm worried they will send it off for the gas test with the lower threshold and that I might be positive on that.

The other thing I'm paranoid about is that it may not be a urine test. The HR lady I'm working with kept referring to it as a "drug screening" and never said if it was urine or not. I should have asked but I thought it might look suspicious to question them. I looked up my company on a link provided in a different thread and according to that the test is urine.

Okay sorry for the long and babbling post- just having anxiety and feeling like a criminal because I smoke pot once in awhile. Any ideas or words of reassurance would be much appreciated.

If u were considering using QF and worried booot the Oregon thing have you considered a clean friends pee. No way its gunna fail if thats the way to go.

From the other post we got on this matter, its probably a good idea to follow the dillution sticky. Bio Med is not following protocol so eventually someone is going to have to sue them to remedy that problem.
Don't worry about the aspirin in the dillution sticky and use gatorade instead of water

Actually, Bio-Med only served as the collection site. The test form that was scanned showed a seperate lab that actually conducted the analysis. I dont remember the actual name, but it was printed on the top of the form alongside the collection facility and the collectors names. I do remember though, it was not a known lab like a Labcorp, Kroll, or QD.
I still doubt the veracity of that whole story altogether. But even if it all happen to be true, Bio-Med is not to be blamed for any of the protocol violations since they were not the ones who conducted the actual analysis in the first place.

i would use the QF if u can't wait to be clean. That dude is like 1 outta a million that have used and passed just get the temp right. I wouldnt worry about the contents of the pee.If you can pass the dipstick EMIT test your fine.

ONE THING, dont ask about when you get results back and shit to people. I was soo nervous after peeing in my UA i think they knew i was nervous and I think they did some extensive testing on my shit i WAS stupid now im not. Just be cool and act like its your pee in your head and you will be fine.

Thanks for the replies/advice so far. I really hope the QF warning is a bogus thread or fluke thing. I'm still on the fence on what I should do. I have all day tomorrow to think about it before I go test on Saturday. Got some creatine supplement and started that today- hope it isn't too late if I do decide to dilute. The stress is killing me!

Dillution should work fine. You are already passing at home tests. You are not going to give them your morning void so don't worry about that. Practice again today using an afternnon void, dillute with about 40 oz of water. If you pass that and you should you are ready for the lab. On Sat. dillute with 40 oz of gatorade go in after a couple of pees and relax. Do an afternoon appointment if you are getting stronger negative results with that. Eat a good steak dinner or a nice juicy burger tonight. Its nerve wracking but you sound OK to me. Let us know the results...

Hi all,

just wanted to update you. I went in and took the ua on last Saturday. I submitting a mix of quick fix and my own urine- probably like 75% QF and 25% mine. I did this because I'm paranoid and thought they may test for crazy things like uric acid or smell it (like in the QF warning thread). I followed the dilution method (and was testing negative on home tests) so as little thc as possible would be in the 25% of my urine. The temp was fine and the sub went off without a hitch. Much easier than I thought it would be (this was my first drug test).

So the good news is I think I passed. I got a call today saying I start August 1st. They didn't mention specifically that I passed the drug screen but I assume they would have let me know by now if I failed. So a big THANK YOU goes out to everyone on this forum. The information I found here was great and now I have a great job
