My work recently went to saliva testing... How can I beat a random saliva test?? I heard that I can use altoids/mints just before the test or have the mint under your tongue while swabing your mouth.

Keep a toothbrush and a small bottle of mouthwash handy. Brush everything in your mouth real well and then rinse with the mouthwash.

Dont think I have time for that... Has nobody tried mints??

Sticking a mint/chewing gum under your tounge when they swab you wont work because they'll make you spit it out before the test.

Thats not the problem haven't smoke in over two months. I dying to smoke again! Had a co worker already take a test and he said that they don't check your month, they just ask if you had anything to eat within the last ten minutes. So with that being said I could probally get away with using mini altoids under the tongue.

My nephew claims that he is being given these tests at his work. He says he pops an ice cube in his mouth before he goes in and then applies the tip of the test to the ice cube. I suppose much of this would depend on the situation though. At his work, he is the only one being tested..lol so they just give him the test and tell him to take care of it. I'm sure that won't be the case in your situation but maybe you could take an ice cube in your pocket wrapped in a bag or something. Just keep a bag near by and crab a cup of ice any time you are called into the office! I can see how this test might be more or less of a pain in the arze for different people.

Again I know I am clean but I would like start smoking again. Has anyone use listerin strips just before the test. And does the test show that you are using a substance to cover it up???

Swab tests currently dont detect "coverups".

Why dont you just order some swab test kits and test to see if your mints and breath strips will work? You'll have your answer then.
