I have a pre-employment DT at Concentra for a entry level sales position tomorrow and am entirely aware I will not pass on my own accord. After a lot of research, and recent personal testimonials from my roomies cousin, I'm gonna pick up a bottle at the same headshop he did and am crossing my fingers cause I'm pretty effin terrified. I really really need this job. I know there are a million threads on this topic but if anyone has some tips or links to tips hook it up :P Also, I will definately post my results as soon as I get em.

hi, i will also be using it very shortly. Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow, and my interview is tomorrow. So long as they dont test me the same day, I will get to try it. Please post back and let us know how it worked out. People have told me to practice the temperature at home before hand, a knowledgable person on here said quickfix can be reheated multiple times without harming it. So...I took the DT today at Concentra. It was a recent batch of 5.7 (I live in Boulder, CO and the head shop apparently flies through the ish) I followed the directions and the temp. was perfect, right at about 96 when he read it. Then he split the sample and sent it to the lab. So far so good, now we play the waiting game and hope all goes well. Keep your fingers crossed for meh!

Does anyone know how quickly the buffers will go bad in QF 5.7 or any other QF cause? I just read that direct sunlight will quickly degrade the components of QF and it will result in a non-human reading. I just had it out a few seconds in the car to check the temp before going into the testing location. Should I be worried?

48 hours and no response yet...kinda worried but they didn't take my sample till 4:16pm 2 days ago n the clinic closed at 5 so I dunno where the lab is or when they deliver samples. I'm hopin for a response tomorrow...

Hey all, I just took a re-test at Concentra today and used QF and am waiting for the results. (please please please) I already failed the first one by using Vales because my sample came back diluted and thus I had to go in and re-do it.
The temp and everything was fine today with the QF but I am just worried after reading different forums that they may be able to tell if you used synthetic urine. It seems that many people post alot before going in to the test, but don't actually post when they passed or not. So please keep us posted if you heard yet or not and if it worked. Thank you so much! I sure hope it worked for me, I hate being on edge and just waiting for the results. Anyways, wish me luck, I will definetely post my results.

Will you be hearing back from the job itself? Because Concentra doesn't usually contact you to tell you the results, they send them to the company you applied with. When I didn't pass the first one because it was diluted it was the company I applied with who called me, not the lab.

Also, I've always heard the golden rule that no news is good news. Because if you think about it companies assume the people they hire are clean and thus wouldn't think to call and say you passed. It should just be understood that you did. Which makes sense to me.

It probably wouldn't hurt to call Concentra tomorrow though, I just wouldn't call the company you applied with as that would be suspicious. I wish you the best of luck!

So I'm thinking QF failed the DT because I haven't received a call(took the test on monday) and I've called them twice to "check on my start date" and was told a manager would call me back soon and still no dice.

You passed. Its just HR being HR. I've seen where it took HR a month to decide.

I'm hoping that is tha case cause the first time I called (Thur.) I was told they were really busy and that they don't usually call back until they have enough employees to organize an orientation. The second time I called (Fri.) I was told that a couple other people had called and left their name n numba because they also hadn't received a call back and the had taken the DT earlier in the week. But I dunno, seems weird that they wouldn't just call me n tell me I didn't get hired if they see I keep callin everyday. I mean, it's like a 5 second phone call to say they revoked my offer of employment. (only way this would happen is if I failed DT) I'm kinda freakin out cause they won't just spend a minute callin me and letting me know one way or another.

Ok...so I called again today (couldn't speak with a manager) but was told again that they wait till they have enough peeps for an orientation again and that the girl I spoke with (she started a few months ago) dealt with the same waiting game. She said that I would have received a phone call had I failed the test, which is the opposite of what I have dealt with in the past but it's what she said. So it seems like QF 5.7 worked but I still don't have a start date so I don't consider myself an official member of the sub-club yet...

Finally got a call back from the hiring manager today and was told all my ish (background check and DT) came back fine and they are just waiting a couple more days until the last of the potential employees' DT's come back so they can set up the orientation soooo....at this point I would say QF 5.7 worked fer meh

Ok yall, I'm officially a member of the sub-club cause my start date is tomorrow.

Recap:
On 10/12/09 I took a pre-employment DT at Concentra and subbed QF 5.7 Batch F3A-09.
I heated QF in microwave 10sec an hour before DT and strapped the heat pack to it. I wore a pair of boxers with a pair of boxer-briefs underneath and I just tucked the QF w/heatpad beneath my junk.
At the clinic I filled out paperwork and waited about 20min then had my name called and went to the back room where they had me empty my pockets and wash my hands then handed me a sample cup with a line. I was unsupervised in the bathroom while I pissed and concurrently poured QF into the sample cup (2oz. just barely reached line on the cup) then put the QF back into my junk. The temp was 96 when he read it and put it into 2 smaller sample cups for the lab. I washed my hands and initialed the 2 cups then gathered the stuff from my pockets, signed out, and bounced.

It took a while to get a call back because the company I'm gonna be working for does mass hirings but about 11 days later (this morning) I got a call back with my start date.

So.....Quick Fix 5.7 Batch F3A-09 PASSED!!!
