I've been reading posts for a solid 3 weeks now. I have a pre-employment UA coming up in a few days and wanted to get some opinions. It's with Quest, 5 panel screen non-observed.

I'm passing dilution no problem, thanks to N2.

I have Quick Fix 5.7 batch FD7-09.

Or sub using wife's clean urine.

What would you do?

I'm leaning towards dilution.

Why are you leaning towards dilution when you have access to a clean sub sample and synthetic, both of which carry a higher success rate than dilution?

How important is it for you getting the job?

It's very important, I have 90k on the line. I was leaning towards dilution because if the sample comes back dilute I may have a second chance...right? I'm nervous about them detecting the QF as "non-human" or my wife's as female sample. Should I not be? and grow a set and use the QF? Thanks for your help toast.

If you were reading the posts for a solid 3 weeks like you said you did, you likely wouldve discovered that..

A) gender is not tested in a urine sample collected for a drug test.

B) as long as your QF batch was unexpired (which is the case with yours) and kept away from exposure to direct sunlight, it wont be ruled a "non-human" sample.

Both of these have been discussed multiple times in this forum.


Whether a "diluted" sample results in a retest depends on your employer. On pre-emp situations, some will grant a retest while others may simply move on to the next job candidate for hire.

Subbing is the way to go, here is what I did.

Nuked quick fix and check with digital thermometer before I left the house and it was at 105F. I had on two pairs of small boxer briefs...very tight. I tucked the QF around my taint area and I put the heating pad between the two pairs of boxers to shield the heat.

10 min. drive to clinic. On the walk from the car the bottle of QF climbed up my crack. I went into the bathroom and checked the temp..96F, ditched the heating pad and walked into the office.

Filled out the paperwork, was given the cup and asked to empty my pockets. Washed my hands, went into the bathroom. Took out the QF, shook it and poured it in the cup. Temp was perfect, the sample was a little low so I shot a few ml's of my own urine into the sample. I diluted before I left the house and tested myself with a home kit just to make sure I was in the negative zone. It was nice b/c my urine added some bubbles to the cup. Walked out, she checked the temp and all was good and now I just have to wait a few days.

Pre-employment, non-observed test subbing is the way to go....it was a lot easier than I thought.
