ive been present for pot growing but this will be the first time ive ever done it from scratch myself. Anyway, we got an incubator and a 250W LE bulb, germinated some seeds and they've started sprouting. i followed the instructions in this video we have ("mr green") and had the light hanging 12 inches above the seedlings after they sprouted. they are looking a little browish though. Is this normal, or are they dying? we thought maybe the light was too close and was burning them, so we moved it up to more like 2 feet away.

We're planning on using a hydroponic system, and we currently have them sitting in these little cubes, and are keeping them nice and moist. We've been maintaining a constant temperature of about 28 degrees celcius. The seedlings are green with some brown splotches. They are currently still standing strong but i worry due to the brown splotches that they may go down soon.

I only have these lights and the matiral that you see in the picture, so maybe thats not so good. I don't know what is causing the drooping leaves, but they seem to fan out during the day... I woke up this morning about 4:30am to see that they were back to before I moved them... They were doing fine yesterday :| . I would really like some pointers.

Thanks Everyone

Sorry the pictures are crappy, let me describe them:
The lower leaves have gone yellow towards the edge of the leaf, now with some brown also... Upper leaves are fine.

Totally new to this stuff, sorry if some of these questions are answered elsewhere. Thought maybe the problem was from lack of nutrients but upon adding the fertilizer, there has been no change. Looking for any advice,

I'm baffled. For the last 4 days or so I have been trying to figure out why the leaves are drooping. The weather outside is starting to get lower but I have been carefully watching the children. The temps never get lower then 65 at night and during the day no higher then 85. I added a timer for my fogger which was set to 15 on and 15 off. I took it back off 2 days ago. The misters were set to about 30 off and 1 minute on when this problem started so I backed it off to about 1 minute one and 5 off. I have been playing around with it some too like increasing the time to 2 minutes on and 3 off, that sort of thing. I cant figure out whether they want more water, more time between waterings or less of either/both. At night my timer goes to a 10 second on 7 minutes off for the misters and the fogger still stays on 24 hours. The plants get slightly healthier looking during the night then by the morning they perk up nice and healthy. 3/4 through the day they start to look bad again. This can be 4 or more hours from lights out.

PPM's are at about 225 or so and it's been a week since I last changed the water. I am building a new system, hoping to be done in next day or two so I was holding off water change till then. PH creeps up to about 6.3 at most, then I bring it back to 5.8.

I'm just amazed at how finicky these things can be. I watch them nearly 24 hours a day and I never have a clue what the hell happened when they go to shit on me.

Hello there, I'm having some problems with my plants and I don't know what to do next... These mother plants where born around late August of 2009 as clones indoor. I decided to put all of these plants outdoors to let them get some sun and they were doing very well. I only let the plants outside for 10 hours and the other 8 hours indoors. I give them rain water from a bucket and fish mix every 3 days. So, now there indoors and no longer outside because it is too cold. Since they have been indoors there starting to look discolored (see attached pics). I think it is because of the PH balance and for a while I haven't checked the PH. Obviously, it was not needed for them being outdoors...so now I just ordered a Hanna Ph checker and want to give my mother plants the right level of PH balance but still unsure of what to do exactly. Please help me if you have any good tips!!

xoxo Bunny :o

ps. notice: I put the perlite 2cm on top of soil to keep the black fungus gnat away. (yellow stickers are included as well )

I have a Pandora's Box plant in the 8th week of flowering. The stuff I have read says the window of harvest is the 9th week. But, from what I have read on the forum results may vary. So, I have two questions. The first is in regards to checking the trichomes. Are there any signs you can see on the plant that let you know when it is time to check the trichomes? I would say at least 25 to 30% of the hairs are red now. Is that a sign?
Second question is about, yellowing spots on the leaves. I had this problem in the beginning (3rd week) and you guys helped me fix it (underfeeding). This week I am using this feeding schedule
0 floraGro
10 ml FloraMicro
20 ml FloraBloom
5 ml floralicious Bloom
10 ml liquid KloolBloom
3/4 teaspoon Bcuz Bloom (from Atami)
10 ml KalMag Plus
**per 1 Gallon Distilled Water
For the most part its the "GH Expert Recirculating Program" minus the Flora Blend and FloraNectar. And, plus the Bcuzz Bloom. My ppm level this morning was 1340. Does the yellowing of the leaves mean the plant is finishing. Or is it my nute recipe that is hurting her? I am a first timer so I have no idea. I remember reading on here that plants start to look bad when they are finishing up. The yellow spots and browning of lower leaves started about half way through the 7wk of flowering. I know its not my ph level, I check it every day and its consistent. Any help from the vets on the forum would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone,

I am about to take some girls out of my veg chamber and put them outside in the Hawaii sun during short season, but I am really worried they will be attacked by white flies like my other girls were previously. Does anyone have any advice on what I can to as a preventative measure? I was told to water with about a tablespoon per gallon of neem oil and the bugs wouldn't attack the plant. I also was told to put up some kind of barrier because the flies won't jump over it, but I was worried it would block out too much sun. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot,
