I am growing under a 400w metal halide, with a color temp of 3200-4000k. I started it (first 4 nodes) under 100w cfl's. This is true bagseed and I have no real idea where it came from so I have no hint to the genetics. It was the most productive of 50 seeds germinated, so I went with it.

What's goin on fellas.

These were rooted in rockwool on Sept 12th. The medium I chose was 70% perlite and 30% sphagnum peat moss. They are in a 3gal Hempy bucket setup, at the bottom they have about 2" of expanded clay pebbles for maximum air around the roots. drilled a hole 2" above the bottom of the pot for drainage.

I have been feeding with GeneralHydroponics 3 part Floraseries.
fed with 15ml gro - 10ml micro - 5ml bloom
Lighting I am using is 2 - 3ft T5 2bulbs, 1 - 4ft T5 2bulb, and 1 68w 2700k CFL, I am using the bulbs that came with the T5s, I'm guessing they're between 5000K-6000K.
I have a 265CFM fan venting my room from the ceiling, into the attic where a homemade carbon filter does the job. (and well.)
I have topped all 3 plants, but the kush a lot more because it's growing a lot faster. I'm thinking of just vegging them into large bushes and cutting into clones to plant outdoors in spring, and in the mean time flower the 3 main ones when I feel I'm ready for it. (don't have ventilation all squared away yet.)
my temps are 70 lights out, and 80 lights on.

Purple Rhino Kush Wreck

First let me start by thanking Killa for blessing me with this early Christmas gift! :thumbsup:

Alright, well I decided to go ahead and start some Purple Wreck x (Purple Rhino x Purple Kush F1) seeds.

I didn't do any fancy germinating methods and decided to try my luck and fill my cups up and plant them directly into the soil itself. Figured, why not? Ole' naturale! :jointsmile:

Anyways, when they pop I will put some fluorescent tubes to get them going. Once they start getting their true leaves I will then put some CFL's with them inside of a rubbermaid container. After about 2 weeks under the CFL's I will put them under this 400W HPS I've been itching to try out!

I will take some pictures once they show their little heads!

Second Grow First Cfl log

This is my first grow log and secondtime growing with cfls.My first grow was

strain:Malibu Kush
4x4x4 seald room
400wt hps
2small intake fans
1 outake fan
1 fan blowing on plant
1 fan cooling hps bulb

outcome: 2 and 1/2ounces
Iknow i could of pushed more out of it but it was kinda big for the box and it was my first grow.
The clones i took off this on and its sister all died 2 i had in a dwc bucket in a box like my new one but a little bigger they died maybe i didnt check there ph the other was put out in the sun too late it started to flower so i took it in with cfls and i got an 8th of it before it died

So am at it again and this time im growing more medicine !!

1 intake cooling fan
1 outake small fan
5 16 wt 6500k cfls for now

im growing 2 right now but am germinateing 10 others hopefully they all sprout and be females

Crimea Blue Fem - CFL Grow

So I'm giving this another shot, my last attempt got ruined cause my lights fell on both my plants and burned them to a crisp. Here I've got a feminized Crimea Blue, she's about 3 weeks old now, slow but steady growth. Growing in a closet with some CFLs, mixed spectrum. I don't know why but the lower leaves have been/are yellowing, trying to get to the root of that problem!

Welcome Everyone..I am definitely No Pro, but hopefully some people can benefit from my logs to grow some dank themselves.. as Weed is way too expensive globally and some of us just cannot afford it so growing our own is not a choice, but a must.
Anyways Specs are...
-4ft T5 for Veg...
-400 watt hps for flowering...
-4x5x2 Veg box
-4.5x4.5x7 Flower box with panda film
-6in Exhaust fan, 6in Passive intake..
-Seed Starter For the first 2-3 wk's then MG Moisture control mixed with perlite until there done..
-Transplant schedule will be 1 month in party cup, 1 month in 2 gallon bucket, then 2 months in 5 gallon bucket or until there done..
-Fox Farm Nutrients: Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, Big bloom..
-Following website feeding schedule but modifying the big bloom to half of what it suggest..

SuperFlower 1st Grow..

So after a very successful outdoor summer grow, we decided to step up the game and get an indoor setup happening. We needed something inconspicuous, and ended up with a Superflower system by Supercloset. It has 2 chambers, a t5-lit veg, and a 400w flower. The veg is deep water culture, and the flower is a drip/deep-water combo.

My first grow.. Closet, 400w HPS, a couple clones, and a couple seeds...

Just figured I'd log my first *real* grow here.. I did try a grow about 3yrs ago with an old crappy 600w HPS, some Master Kush seeds from Nirvana. Got two females that were really stretchy and got me about an eigth of dried bud.. Not very impressive. Looking back, I did almost everything wrong. Wrong location, no nutrients, wrong soil, etc.

Well, FF a couple years, and a lot of reading.. I went and got a 400w HPS from HTGsupply. That bastard is wayyyyy brighter than my old 600!

Anyways.. On to some pics.. I must apologize, my Nikon DSLR is at my parent's house so I had to use a Canon point and shoot,,

I started by planting one of the old Master Kush seeds I was stowing away.. Just one.. I also grabbed two clones from a grow friend.. One is a Northern Lights/Blueberry, and the other is a Frisian Dew. All the clones have been going now for about three - four weeks. The Master Kush seed I never wrote down the date it popped so I'm going to guess about 5 weeks on the MK.

To my delightful surprise, two days ago the MK started busting pre-flowers - it's a girl!!! And a beautiful looking one at that!!

I think they've all grown enough now. I've done a lot of LST'ing and a FIM on both the MK and the Frisian.. They look wonderful. I'm going to start the 12/12 tonight!!! Can't wait!!!

Also I planted two Butterscotch Hawaiian x G13 skunks.. They're both 12 days old (12 days since popped out of soil). I'm going to move them to a veg box today so they can keep vegging while the others are budding.

Here's the two Butterscotches.

They've been under 400w HPS since popping.. But I keep them on the floor off to the side so they don't get too much light.. That one is looking great and is right at the surface of the soil. Interested to see how it turns out!!!

I also tried my hand at clones.. I took two clippings off the Frisian Dew yesterday. Today they look as green and healthy as if I just snipped them off. I have high hopes! My first clone attempts ever! Now I will have two clones of a clone. hahaaa

Also for Nutes I'm using the GH Flora three part series for hydroponics. That's all. I noticed a HUGE jump in plant life when I started that. Got all three in 32oz bottles off ebay for like $39 shipped.

And the grow closet - completely light proof using weather stripping and sticky sheets of felt from Wally World. Worked beautifully. Also threw on a locking door handle in case of any nosy guests. Off shot are a fan blowing from an intake hole in the wall which gets fed cold basement air, and a hole up in the ceiling with an exhaust fan blowing into the attic. No carbon filters or any of that crap. I'm in a single family house and with venting to the attic I don't think smell will be much of an issue. Not to mention it's only a few plants at a time..

that's about it!!! Switching to 12/12 and will keep this thread updated with pics and progress.. Thanks to all for all the great help I've gotten while reading these forums!!!!

Master Kush ScROG

Hey everyone! I am an east cost medical grower that is relatively new to the board. Been posting and reading for a few weeks, and thought I would show off my current grow. Its my first scrog, and I have been loving it. The only downside is my leaves are burning up fast, turning yellow and getting a bunch of brown spots all over. I am hoping it doesn't hurt my yield too much but I am sure it will.

I'm a relative newb, and have only been growing a couple years since my wife was diagnosed with cancer. I couldn't justify spending all that money on meds when cannabis always helped her far more than the plethora of pills she was being prescribed. She has been getting better and better, so I must not be doing too bad. :thumbsup:

Anywho, here is my Master Kush plant at 34 days. Any questions just ask, and I'll try to update as the weeks pass. Cheers! :jointsmile:

well im going to post a few pictures ive tried growing in the past :low amount of monet so no good soil pots or anything: now i got the soil and i just got done germinating them and two spouted in soil and i accidentaly droped one moving it from my dest :( but i got two small computer fans blowing on them and i have some very small plastic cups about the size of shot glasses any advice as when i should transplant them and what size pot to transplant?

hmm anyone can tell me how to add pics?

I will post the layout as soon as possible. I think I need to rearrange the charcoal filter and exhaust. Currently I have the filter sitting on the DR150 Floor linked up to the In-Line fan being used as an exhaust. Anyone have any suggestions for how to situate the filter and exhaust fan?

My next question is how do I start the seeds? Germinate them directly in the rapid rooters or transplant them to the rapid rooters?

im planing my new grow space with dwc i want to also put drip lines is this the same as rdwc and also how big of a drip pump will i need i just bought an air pump at petco it has quad output i plan to use 8 ten inch bubble bars 4 in ea. 32gal. black tote with 4 plants in each tote will the pump be strong enough it says it can handle 220 gal. of water any more info is good ps can anybody point me in the right direction as to how to put it all together thanx i wanna make sure i have all the parts before setup so if i need it tell me....:D

2-32gal black totes=16$
8-10in. air stones=18$
1-air pump=24$

i still need black tubing,net pots,clones,water pump,

any coments are welcome along with advice?
