I'm the webmaster, California "person on the ground," and 1/2 the brains behind RastaVacations, your source for cannabis friendly travel. I've been online since 1996 when I started selling "pages" for an online "yellow pages" for the Pacific Northwest. When Google and Yahoo were just part of a larger group and Microsoft wasn't on the web. Way ahead of my time but chose a bad partner. Missed another attempt to be the first with a public board level components search engine (oddly, for the same reason as the first one). But now...all the "ducks" are in a row and I'm ready to try again!

The other 1/2 of the brains behind RastaVacations actually started the thing (I say thing because she had a very nice but useless flash website and no plans for California). She contacted me via another forum and another of my sites (medicalmarijuanabuyersclub.com). Unlike anyone with whom I have partnered in the past, she has proven to be reliable, open to change, against change when necessary, brings many ideas and suggestions to the table, and cares enough to help me improve me.

She had no idea when she sent the email that in addition to various web skills I have experience in the hotel industry and travel industry. I have worked guest services for hotels in the past in and around the Disneyland area. I have also been a travel agent, planning custom tours to Australia & New Zealand.

Here's where I need your help: business - yours, your friend's, and anyone else you can tell. Twitter about us and follow us on twitter. Post in your blog. Tell your friends. sign the RastaVacations guest book. Anything at all. Two seconds of your time multiplied by all the other kind readers of this post would change our world. Here's one of the places the other 1/2 of the brains helps me. I would normally want to rant here about how angry I get that people can make a difference but just won't take the two seconds requested. Instead, I've learned to become softer in my approach and thus can just say "please help us. It would mean so much."

Just in case this part didn't come across, the "harsh" approach exists because of an unfortunate level of understanding. That same understanding really "gets" how much your help really means. There is no way to thank you.

PS If you do post or link to us, we're trying really hard to "own" the phrase "cannabis friendly travel" so be sure to use it liberally!
