So far I've had mostly positive experiences, but still looking for guidance on proper use. The first vape I had was a box like vaporizer much like the hotbox or the vaper bros model. It was kinda of a cheap imitation that didnt really have a brand name, and unfortunately fizzled out after a few days. I guess that what you get for rushed purchasing. Anyway after doing some research I came upon da Buddha Vape. Ive been playing around with it for the last hour here, and still feel like I'm doing something wrong. I follow the heating instructions and turn it full power for about 2-3 minutes and then turn it down to about 12 o clock or 2 o clock at the most. Usually my first few hit produce a pretty visible cloud of vapir then it kinda of stop, so I stir try it again, sometimes I get visible vapor when I exhale sometimes I dont. I know that if Im doing anything wrong its my draw. I understand that the draw is very personal and varies from person to person, and I am for finding out my own method. However, I do have a few buddies that want to use the vaporizer, so how personal is learning the right draw? Could you teach someone your method, or do you have to find it out your own. Can you guys advise me on could draw types and temps? I took the "obvious" approach and half filled my vape with well dried leaves all smashed up. It tasted like... burning leaves, but I started to feel a bit better, and after packing it again I was actually really stoned.:jointsmile:

I figured it was a fluke, but I've tried it twice since then, found that the drier the leaves the better, and the temp set best at 360-370.:thumbsup:

I'm a bit of a light weight, but this still really surprised me. Anyone else out there get to this level of desperation? I am seriously considering the launch box, but am curious about maintenance issues. Not even issues, but is it easy to clean? I remember my old vapor bros. whip would get that nice golden/brown build up, so i'm sure the LB would have build up after a bit too. I don't want to buy it just to have it gunk up on me in an irreparable way. 2. how many bags will that fill?
I'm a very heavy smoker, 1/2oz a week or so
3. should my intake increase or decrease
4. i'm worried i'll miss the pleasure of smoking a joint, anyone any experience with this? how did the change go?
5. i have kids and presently smoke in my shed, would it be possible to use vaporizer in living room at night with kids in bed? anyone do this or is it frowned upon?

My question is, how has this bad economy effected your business? Business as usual, things are a little slow or I had to go back to my old job.

Many of us consumers are feeling it too, and as such we ask lots of questions before we buy your product and we're reluctant to buy those that get hyped too much by unknown sources.

After a few weeks reading on these and other forums, I decided to order the HerbalAire 2.1 from greatvape.com, with a discount coupon from the company. I was ridiculously excited to get it when it came a few days ago. I had really high expectations, and they've only been partly met. I'm also having some pretty bad issues.

Most importantly, since I started using it, I've been having bad congestion in my nose, and horrible drymouth, even when I havn't used it recently. I can't figure out why this is happening, but my friend (who also used it with me when it came) is also having congestion. I'm worried this is from the hot 'teflon' mouthpieces, or fine particles (i got new screens today, but they havn't helped much).

More generally, I havn't found it nearly as efficient as expected, though all I put it comes out nicely toasted. It appears that it still cooks while sitting between bags or whip draws, which the promotional info said it wouldn't.
Furthermore, even though I'm using high-grade stuff, I'm not getting much of a clean taste, even when the vape is kept at low temps. Even bubbling it through my hookah doesn't help very much.

I'm at a loss - I really like this vape, but it seems like its making me sick. My lungs feel fine, but I can barely breath through my nose, and I'm going through stuff suprisingly fast with it. I don't want to return it, but now I'm considering the Extreme or DBV instead.

I know that's a lot to read, but I don't know what to do. I read someone say they had throat irritation for a week, but then they got better. I've been using it for 3 full days, how much longer should I use it if its making my nose sick? Furthermore, are there any legal issues with returning a used vaporizer through the USPS?

This what I'm planning at the moment.

1)The appearance is already set.

2)It will be a bowl and stem type like the PD and others of that style but with ground glass on glass fittings like the whip style vapes.with a slightly larger bowl than others of the PD type but smaller than the standard whip.

3)It'll be held when used,rather than from a stationary base(I may include or offer a wooden base)

4)I've never liked the female bowls that go over the male heat source, if you look at them after vaping you'll often see a green ring around the brown well vaporized product,that tells me that not all the product is getting vaped with out stiring frequently and that there is product being vaporized at different temperatures,I don't want either.So the smaller male end (probably a 14/20 fitting)will be the bowl/receptacle.that should make heat disperse more evenly.

5)glass air channel,ceramic heating element,adjustable heat,no plastics(other than wire coating.),not very stealthy.

quality at low cost is one of my main concerns,but I have two paths I need to decide on.I can either make a bare bones but quality vaporizer and sell it for less than almost any of the other electric vaporizers out there,or I can make a top quality version that comes as a bare bones no frills but high quality unit with modular upgrades.So you could buy the base unit and then a month latter add a blower and bag,or a digital temp control,bubbler,bong attachments or what ever.

The Volcano is way too expensive, especially as I could buy an iolite and an SSV for less money. I've never used a vaporizer of any kind before, but after 35 years of smoking, I'm kind of tired of the nasty taste from smoking, so the concept appeals to me. I really can't spend more than 300.00USD, so it comes down to either a launch box and 'da Buddha (best of both worlds?), or an iolite alone, or a non-portable and a pipe for the rare occasion when I indulge away from home.
