World Of WarCraft
LOL so I started playing this game again... yeah.
Bought the expansion today, but my mother won't let me play it until I go clean out the back living room. Fair trade I guess.
Anyone else play? I'm not obsessed with the game or anything. I think the quests are far to repetitive for that. Also, I don't like to grind for experience much. I got to level 10 in two days. I bet I'll hit 70 in a year or more.

Yeah I think the statistics are like 40% of players are "addicted".
To that 40%, I have this to say...
Sell your characters and become rich.
That is actually my plan. I'm going to play the game until I accumulate so much in game wealth and fame that I will auction it all on e-bay and get a crap load of money for it.

heh...im an ex-addict. i had to get off that shit. i got a lvl 65 rogue though i havent played in like months. i used to get baked and play that jank too much. it definatley kicks ass though, if your into rpgs. the pvp is teh cool.

yea i admit it, i was once addicted to world of warcraft like it was crack... i stood up until four in the mourning every day, went to sleep, woke up ate, took a shower, then played some more, for a long period of time... i only made it to lvl 36... :*( i was a lazy player, i didnt enjoy quests to much, i did instances a lot...

I bought the game when it first came out, and all the times I tried to play it I got sick of it pretty quickly.
Then, a few days ago, I started up another 10-day trial account just for the fuck of it (and well, because I was high), and so I played it high... and it was great. I just upgraded my account to pay/month status, still enjoying myself.
WoW + weed = good times.

Hell people have killed their children over the game they were playing for various sick and demented reasons. Hell, China has even made laws concerning the number of hours people are allowed to play in one sitting. Make no mistake games are very addicting and you must monitor your own playing or else next thing you know the game will be your life!
About 5 or so years ago I got my first new generation computer (only thing I really saw before that was when I was younger when someone gave us a 256mb hard drive PC and computers at other peoples houses, hell I really didn't know there was anything besides porn on the internet before a while before I got a computer lol) I had been working in a computer store so I got parts for cheap and built my own, then I was like well I got this awesome computer might as well find a cool game to play. 5 or so years later it is last August, and I finally stop playing games.
Truthfully games most likely saved my life keeping me off street dealing of herb, kept me out of clubs being raided by the DEA, drastic reduction in number of arrests a year (only 3 arrests in the past 5ish years yay!) and made me forget about one of my worst vices, drinking Alcohol.. but sadly I lost contact with many people who ended up moving away during the time I was living in a fictional world on the internet.
I'm left with making new friends, living in a new place (chyea the suburbs are lovin me!) Damn man, the person I see most often that is a friend is a hindu that works in a gas station when before this all happened I was surrounded with rasta brethren, my free time was spent surrounding by my friends with their children hanging out with mine. Make no mistake I am slowly surrounding myself once again with like minded peoples but it is slow going, random encounters that lead to friendships are rare occurrences when you are an adult with a family 
All this sounds a lot like a story from a person who is recovering from a heroin addiction to me

this game is crack. my friend was completely addicted to this game to the point where it failed him outa college cause he played ALL day everyday and was in denial about it. his addiction was more serious than the friends ive had addicted to coke. he would stay up for 36 hours playing the game, only eat maybe twice and then sleep for like 12 hours and start the cycle over again.

RedLocks, I didn't say there aren't people with addictive personalities. If this game was as addictive as people say, EVERYONE would be addicted to it.
