what style do you prefer?

I'll go with fact based modern warfare, Call of Duty 4 seems really awesome,+ battle field 2 and most of all Counter Strike rules

I voted wrong but I like all games, DOD 1.3 was very fun and competitive. Counterstrike 1.6 is very good, I like COD, and BF2.

traditionally, i prefer fact based WWII games.... dunno why but i just really 'liked' that war... the planes, the guns, the vheicles.... make for the best games imo... but lately, as we all know, there's a huge influx of modern warfare games.... so recently that's what i've been playing mostly.... (for the past few years)... bf2, bf2mc, SOCOM 3 (i played for awhile, not my type of game tho) etc...

Fact-based WWII games, I absolutely love Battlefield1942 and Return to Castle Wolfenstein as well as Battlefield: Vietnam.... I'm just a huge fan of the wwII era wars.. i guess its something about how deadly they were like how deadly D-Day was on Normandy.. today's war is small and pitiful compared to then....OHHhh!! I just saw the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare i wouldn't mind giving that a try it looked pretty good

in all honesty, COD:MC is pretty much going to be BF2:MC.... just with souped up graphics....

but yeah i know what you mean, not sure why, but old war games are just funner and i'm more 'attracted to them'....

Well, I don't really mind aslong as they game play is top notch, I'd much rather it be realistic in any/all aspects though.

Either of the modern warfare categories would be nice. Like Call of Duty 4 which is creeping right up on us. My other choice would be future warfare human vs. human. I'm more into the "shoot em once in the head and they're dead" shooters. Like counster strike and rainbow six for example. So realistic shooters are my main FPS game choice. But I've also been a fan of the Halo series for a long time and enjoy Halo 3 for the most part. Same goes for Killzone and once KZ2 is realesed we'll see what kind of reviews it gets. Don't plan on getting a PS3 unless it has some killer shooters in the future. So I guess this makes me a fan of future warfare human vs alien too. Damn there are way too many to choose from!

lol dude i probably played you on it alot.... (killzone) that was my online fps for like a year.... but because th eranking system is total shit i always just made new accounts once i got to 2-3 stars... it's probably hard to belive by anyone who plays that game, but weirdly enough, my favorite weapon didn't go boom.. lmao... infact... just the opposite... the ISA side arm.... unless i picked up a shotgun or a sniper rifle, it's what i carried infact.... it was my one weapon of choice... go ahead shoot your 203.... and when you do miss, you'll already be dead, cuz all it takes is two quick caps to the head and you're gone.... i've got 7 shots, and i can get them all off before you even have one chance to reload that 203.... lol....

Modern Combat, fact based for me. But I haven't really been playing FPS's for the past few years, just the old shit, like Team Fortress Classic. I've recently started playing Fortress Forever, a complete remake and redesign of Team Fortress Classic made for Valve's Source Engine, made by fans of class-based games for fans of that nature. Good game.


I played Team Fortress 2 briefly, but dropped it within the weak. A bit too slow paced for me, and inbalanced.

I also like the more Sci Fi Shooters as well like Half Life 2

Wow So many FPS out there.. some of my favs are.. Counter-strike(any halflife game), Gears of War(not a first person.. But it plays liek one), All the Halos , battle field, GoldenEye(N64), Call Of Duty 4(played the beta..its owns!!), Huxley wil be the next FPS i plan on playing.. MMOFPS should be good.

Good poll for this time of the year, so many new games coming out... I am a HUGE Unreal Tournament 2004 fan and am majorly addicted to the online multiplayer Onslaught game type. My name has always been MassiveBongRip on there if anyone else plays. Call of Duty 4, Crysis, Medal of Honor Airborne, and Unreal 3/2007 are definetly FPS Games of the year. I need a new computer to crank these games up though

I usually think about FPS in terms of game engines and in-game physics and stuff like that. I don't care what the textures for enemies look like so much as how the game plays... That being said, pretty much any good FPS is good with me (I chose "something not listed" because there was no "all of the above").

all im gonna say is.. i cant wait for cod4.. i hope u get it slip. (so i can shoot tha fuck outta you lol)
