I have no idea only played on the 360 and I think (not sure) that the ps3 has a lot better graphics?

ive had both, and i prefer my ps3. the xbox 360 has a lot more noteworthy games by far, ps3 to me is a far superior systems and is expected a have a lot of great games this year

also, the 360 makes a very annoying humming sound which drove me crazy and the ps3 is virtually silent

but to each his/her own.. they are both great and you will enjoy any of them, just be sure to get the various things needed for optimum hd gaming

^^ yeah the 360 is loud like fuk, I got a external fan for my PS3 it helps alot you might wana look for em. I can put my hand on the exahust and feel the temp differance with and with out my external fan. Oh and look at alot of fans before you buy cause they all make alot of noise with a few exceptions.

PS3 has way better graphics and that can be scean in the new call of duty. A couple of friends even came over and were playin on my PS3 for the first time and they noticed it immediatly. They even got better they said they could see what they were shooting much clearer. Online is the only way to go I cant wait for the new socom and then after that the new socom map packs. I like the bigger maps with vehicles, much better than the small maps.

Plus with a PS3 you know that it will actually last and not get the stupid red dot of death.
And you get free internet gameplay. Greedy ass Microsoft trying to mooch every dollar possible. It's gonna bite them in the ass in the future

I personally think the 360 powns the ps3. Better games and if the graphics aren't the same then they are one notch below the ps3.

This is mostly fan boy talk so i really wont get into it. Most of these guys says ps3 has better graphics, original poster take the time to visit all the different review sites and have that answered for you correctly.

No fanboys at gamespot.com or ign.com and there you will get a fair assessment. I have both 360 and PS3 and my ps3 has been the most disappointing buy i've made so far in gaming. The only game i'm probably gonna get for the PS3 is Killzone 2 and FF13. The only thing they have going for them is the Blu-ray but this is a game console and movies dont have anything to do with gaming. Also if you read more on the PS3 you'll notice that some games are gonna cost up to 79 bucks soon. Its a cool system but is it just all around better than the 360? Yeah right!

I love my ps3, i can store music, go on youtube, play online. but i havnt had a game yet that lasted more than 3 days, tip - dont buy games just rent em coz you'll be done by the time they go back.

Bring back the ZX Specturm!

dude game makers havent even completely gone from old to new in PS3, in this next year and the begeining of next year you will see the differance like night and day. Not to put down 360 cause I like 360 too, but it is common scence the ps3 is the future. you have to remember how microsoft enters the game market. they focus was to get out a next gen system before sony. Sonys objective was to put out the best of the time which is why it took a little long for the ps3 to come out. it all goes back to the dual anolog controler. When ps1 came out they took a while just come up with the best controler. its little things like that that the gammer likes (now as soon as they bring back vibration I will be happy) also free online play is a must. You have to buy new map packs and games why pay to play?? makes no scenc but when I had my 360 I payed too, just so I could sell it.

I've had my 360 since October 06 and it's never broken down on me but countless times the disk can't be read and it just stops and makes sickening noises. The disks still work though... I bought it pre ps3, so now ps3 is gonna come out with some good games, mgs4, gt4, gta4, such a playstation game original, final fantasy. I prefer the controller. Free online. Why do i still have a 360? Hmm, when this months online runs out i may just have to trade the old girl in. I don't need both. advice anyone?

A couple of my friends took their 360s to gamesstop and tradedem for thier ps3. it wasnt striat trade though, they still had to pay. Personaly I think ebay, you could get a good price for it with games, then buy the 40 gig. which is now 399, also dont get the 20 gig unless you dont care about wifi. the 20 has no wifi capabilities.

Thats retarded why would you trade a 360 for a ps3?! Just buy them both. The PS3 is gonna have like 4 good games next year and thats there franchise games, almost everything else is just gonna be mediocre at best. When there franchise games have already launched and your through with them then what else will you have?! I have the PS3 just for FF13 thats it. The system just isnt that great, the online lags so thats why its free! Microsoft charges for xbox live because of all the stuff thats available to there subscribers all the time, and the download speeds will max out your connection speed, XBL is great and 50 bucks a month is nothing to bitch about, unless your dirt poor and if you were, you wouldnt be debating about getting a 360 or a ps3.The 360 is shooting out great fun games back to back.

So go trade in your 360's everyone for a PS3 and i can almost guarantee that you'll be very disappointed by the end of this year, with your 4 good games and my library of good games for the 360 and those 4 good games for my ps3. One more thing to note, go to wikipedia or any other site and see which console sales more per yearly quarter and see how the 360 smashes the PS3 i guess just enough people dont feel like the SONY fanboys here!

Pshh. The PS3 is way a way better investment long term. There arent many games with there still a good market is still good for PS2 games.

Right now the 360 has games the PS3 can't even begin to compete with.

PS3 failed horribly with launch titles when the 360 already had a year head start.

Eventually the PS3 will catch up and probably pass the 360, as far as i can see the hardware is a little more advanced.

stonerboy. its funny u talk about fanboy while ur obviously a 360 fanboy. anyway.. as for the ps3 having 4 games this year?! m8 theres about 20 games coming out this month alone. this is the year ps3 takes over .. also.. toshiba or who ever has stopped making hd disk now after losing the HD battle to blueray. im just guessing this part.. but it seems that m$ will have to make a new system with blueray (if sony agrees to it.. which they will since there a business and not a fanboy) .. so i dunno if 360 will be extinct or someone will continue making the games or ? .. but im pretty sure ull see a new xbox thatll have blueray in the next few years

ps. rogue.. get a ps3 man.. u definitly wont regret it. and the best thing is im posting this from my ps3.. a 42" monitor makes reading things alot easier lol , and dont forget youtube!

No need to argue just check the stats! If you feel like im a fanboy then so be it, but i have both systems and can post a picture of them side by side. I got them both when they came out and gave them both a fair chance. The ps3 just isnt standing up to all the hype. So what you can surf the web on a ps3?! I have a computer for that which is much more efficient. The ps3 is supposed to be a video gaming console so thats what it should be good at and right now its not doing it, plain and simple. I havent played one game for the ps3 so far that has played and felt as good as a title on the 360.

Ratchet & Clank is the only game that gets played on my 360 right now because its the only pretty good game out right now. I'll be get MGS 4 soon and maybe that will hold me over for awhile but like i said about 4 flagship titles are gonna come out this year that are gonna actually be good, if you know anymore post them.

And i definitely need some of that pot your smoking when you stated that the PS3 is gonna have 20 good games this month, that shit you have must be bomb!

Ratchet and clank??? is that a online game?? I would rather be a PS "fan boy" than a 360 "fan boy". Personaly I go with the better system, and PS has been the better system for almost 10 years now. before then it was nintendo and dream cast. The neo geo crowd was alwys raving about the better graphics but that system lasted about 2 years. Im not sayin xbox is gonna last three years but their is a big, big differance from PS3 and 360. Ps3 is the future, the blue ray topple is just the begening, I have used the PS3 browser and it is impresive. soon then need for a PC will be obsoleet, besides for bussiness. Microsoft is always involved in gaming but as far as a counsel, I can see PS9 but not Xbox version 9. Online is the future in gaming and has been the leading drive in gaming for the past 12 years. It started with world of war craft and simular RPG's and then gained momentum with Half Life and other simular FPS games. The PC's days are numbered as far as game playing goes and this is because of the boost in quality of counsels, and PS3 is just starting in the next gen systems

Wow this is getting amusing once again check the stats. There are more game reviews out there that states that the Xbox 360 version of a game that appears on both systems is better. And i dont care which one you think is better because its an opinion. I have them both and i'm gonna get the games i like for both of them. And my PS3 collection consist of two games which are Resistance and Ratchet & Clank.

I definitely dont understand why in your mind do you think that there would be a PS9 but no MS around?! Do you know how much money sony has lost with the PS3?! Maybe you should go do some more reading before you talk to me. Its about profits and the PS3 isnt getting any of that!!! Microsoft takes very little losses with there console and there only big loss was guaranteeing there customers warranties for another 2 years, i'm almost positive that sony wouldnt dare take that step, there losing too much right now and people are still begging for a price drop on the PS3.

MS was smart and went with the cheaper format which was HD-DVD and now that HD has lost they'll simply change to blu-ray, would sony have been able to do the same thing?!

This talk is pointless and i dont know why i continue it, Sony fanboys are gonna say what ever they can to make MS look bad. Anyway it goes MS excels at everything they do and i think there doing an awesome job right now. The future of gaming is indeed online and guess who's doing the best right now in console online gaming?! Yep you guessed it Microsoft!

To the original poster go get a PS3 and you'll make everyone here happy but will you make yourself happy?! Maybe in another year but not right now and thats a fact you can read on any gaming site!

i believe uv got a ps3 m8.. but i dont believe uv given it a chance.. u got a HD tv? HDMi cable? buy a newer ps3 game.. a anticipated title.. not some half assed game.. Call of Duty 4 is the superior FPS.. and i think the only FPS thatll be better is Call of Duty 5. so medal of honer ect.. wouldnt be a good game to get. but seriously m8.. the ps3 can only get better.. i think u should give it more of a chance.. get a newer game. let me no if u want help picking one.

Dude Xbox is not using HD-DVD! Its an add on! The xbox itself uses DL DVD's, which is why Lost Odyssey if Four disc. Yes i have HDTV and i play both my 360 and PS3 on it. And lots of games comes out for each system but there's no way in hell that the PS3 will have 20 GOOD games in 1 month, just aint happening for no system.

lol im pretty sure i said 20 games.. nothing about how good they are.. i only read up on the ones i plan on buying.. at least 3.. but the point im making is,. if theres 20 in one month.. just shows that ps3 games are rolling in.. so nobody can continue to complain that theres no good games.
and i havent got a clue what DL Dvd is m8 .. all i no is that blueray is top dog
