You can download an emulator and some roms off a torrent website (they almost always come together), so you can play N64 or PlayStation games on your computer. Very fun, and very nostalgic.

Know a website?

Yes man, you need to do a few steps but it's all very simple and will not take more than 10 minutes. First download a BitTorrent client like Azerus, http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ (It's safe don't worry). Once you have that downloaded go to piratebay.org. Type in whatever you want to find, in this case n64 emulator or ps1 emulator. Once you found one you like click on "download this torrent." It should save a small file on you desktop. Open up Azerus...then press File, Open Torrent file, click on the file on your desktop and it'll start downloading. Wait till it hits 100% and voila. It's all much simpler than it sounds.

A couple of things to consider: if you have a slow internet connection than it may take a while to download. Always look for a torrent that has a lot of seeders (offering that download) and low amount of leachers (downloading); you'll see that on the top right of the torrent. I wouldn't worry about viruses or anything like that, especially if there are a lot of seeders and comments about the torrent. I've downloaded many torrents and have never gotten any viruses or anything like that, just stay away from the torrents that don't have comments or have low seeders. It may sound like a lot to do but it's very simple, just have to press a few buttons. If you have any questions then feel free to ask.

The game Combat Arms is alot of fun.

Screw that, give me good old ZSNES and im happy!


Look into tales of phantasia. the emulator version is the japanese version because it was never released in america. it's transelated and everything, so dont worry, it's all good.


Excellent storyline and in depth character development. it surpasses all other SNES era games.

I like shooter, racing,and of course old school games like pacman and mario.

for old school emulators/ROMs are the way to go. i can't say i know many free games. for quick little games or classics (dominoes, chess, cards etc) i would suggest yahoo. i'm not sure about the shooter and racing. are you wanting to play them online or to download them to your comp and run locally?

Free online shooter would be badass, kind of like a free counterstrike.

The only thing you have to do is make an account, and download the app. Its a completly free online FPS and you play it from your web browser. There is a skill matchup which should keep you around other people at your skill level.
