Well how the time flys! these guys are starting to take off. getting bigger every day!. I have two sets of pictures, we'll start with the older.
They are gaining their 5 leaves, and begining to grow shoots between the nodes. Im thinking about pinching my plants, but i don't know at what point is good. I've heard between 4th and 5th node, but im not sure which is concidered the first node.
Anyway, here are the pictures.

Cut it at the Red if you want to top, cut it at the green if you want to FIM. Now is the best time as you can top again when the new shoots grow  (BTW zoom in to see lol )

Hey thanks for the advice, i was concidering topping it...but now im not so sure.
By pinch i meant FIM, but upon further reading, i don't really want to do it now.
I've been thinking about what i could do....i have 3 plants, soon they will have to sex
Im guessing id get either 1, or 2 males, or 1 or 2 females :-). If i have one female im thinking topping woudl be great. if i have 2, i was concidering LST.
But i would have to LST now, so i think i might just top
or maybe roll the dice and top 2.
i was also thinking of doing a later top, (longer veg) and trying to flower it to get sex. Anybody ever try this?

Why not a combination of FIM and LST. You could even try scroging because the screen helps keep bud sites in formation and you get more efficient use of your space, just an idea.

LST is easier on the plant while topping will slow growth for a week or so, i say LST as it almost the same as topping its less stressful to the plant....think of the plants man.

keeping an eye on your thread looking good, my grow is around 4 weeks ahead of yours i LSDed and im going to SCRoG ,check it out it might help you make up your mind, good luck with it ill be watching

Im too afraid to LST or top or anything...so i've decided to just let them grow. but if i did want to LST what is the best string to use, i hear some can cut the plant.
Question: I have a 150W HPS light, with a lamp shaped reflector (like a 3D parabola.) Would it be best to leave it centered above 3 plants, or take away the reflector and just put it between the 3 plants?
Anyway, here are the latest pictures
Anyone knwo why they are so droopy? and hte new leaves curl up?
I just watered them today, i think i might be watering them too little.
And why are there yellow leaves! im using balanced nutes and shit....maybe cuase of hte light oriontation?

are you letting the soil go dry before adding water?
they look over watered to me, also what is the PH of the soil.
they are nice and green so it must be that, bottom leaves starting to yellow too if you havent introduced veg nutes next watering should be it.
just LST the damn thing i was scared too and once i did one plant is was on....yeah.....did you see my LST guide?

Yes i did! thank you very much,
i think i will LST, i do let the soil dry out, sometimes for two days.
I am going to use twine to LST them. is that cool? i dont want to harm my plants!

i used ribbon, twine, speaker cable, anything that is 12" long i claim for LST
maybe they just needed water then?

you only need to water every 2-3 days and use you nutes every third time you water, looking forward to your LST bend them over 90 degrees they will love it, i would leave the lamp over the plants as close as you can get it but keep an eye on the temps, they should perk up good luck strangle

So, the LST is working great! its making them grow faster i think. im not sure if im going to have them grow in a straight line, or curve them around the pot. Since 1 or 2 of these plants are going to be males (assuming) i think im gonna curve them around the pot for max space....

i always made them grow around the outside edge of the pot, seems to work like a charm for me anyways, how do they look today?

Hey everyone,
Sorry i havn't updated in so long...my camera broke so i feel off the wagon for a while. I still dont have a working camera, but heres my update!
Everything is going great, i've transplanted into bigger pots and the plants are over 1ft tall. This weekend im planning on starting flowering but i am about to hit a snag....
My friend is giving me a clone...2 weeks old now. I only have one light and i dont know what to do. This clone will be much better then the bagseed i am growing...i need to figure out a way to keep it! here is my idea:
Create a light proof container, possible large rubbermaid. Keep the lights going normally, but at 12 hours of lights on my 5week plants, place them in the lightproof container to begin the flowering process.
This would allow me to veg the clone as well as flower the others.

Hey everyone,
Still no camera. IM WORKING ON IT!
I just started my first day of 'flowering' by flushing each plant and using a 1/4 strength solution of nutes for the final wash. The nutrients i used are
0-10-10 bloom something or other - 1/2 tsp/gal
Jamacain bat Guano - 1 tsp/gal
I wish i had time to flush in the morning, i feel bad feeding them like this just before the lights go out. its gonna be hard to not touch them for 12 hours at a time, im ocd. I only hope there isnt much leak through the crack in the door...its a dark hallway by nature. so it should be okay.
All of hte plants already have their pre flowers, but im not sure how long until they sex well...
Oh, and about 4 days ago i cloned the plants...just cause i could, idk. Now they're under 12 12 light, i dont expect them to survive much longer...it would be cool though, why not, maybe get one bud from them haha, the goal was to determin sex with them but i did it too late, oh well.

So after about a week of flowering, they sseem to be showing sex. Its looking like two females....but im not even sure anymore.
