JOURNAL OF A MADMAN II
149.1
JOAMM DAY 149 - Flower Day 1
Hey, guys & gals. After a long time of me saying I was going to post a second JOURNAL, here it is finally. I'm gonna do my best to make this as thorough as the last one, but.......well, you know how it is.
There will be day numbers for the flowering stage, and also another number for the whole JOURNAL OF A MADMAN log. This large day number (ex: D149) relate to the day when the first seeds were ever sprouted in the world of the Madman. So, as of this post, this closet has been a'growin' herbs for magnificent days. You can for the most part ignore that number. It's for accuracy purposes only.
Without further ado...
Day 149 - Day 1 Flower for the 2nd cycle
The last plants were harvested 3 days ago. Now the main flower chamber is empty...kind of. It still has the planter full of hydroton and rootballs. This has to be cleaned out before the next plants go in, but for today there is no time.
SO, the 3 LST'd clones that were clogging up the veg room are going to just be thrown into the flowering room to start their cycle. They are going to have to stay in pots until they are transplanted into the planter next time. This also means that they will have to be hand-watered for now. No worries.
Don’t forget to drop the lights…drop top, biaches.

149.1
Still Day 149/1.
So, three plants were moved from the veg room, which is good because they were really starting to cramp the other ladies' styles. Now the 2 outcast clones that were stuck up at the kids table will come join the rest of the teens. Also, take a look at the baby Northern Lights & Bubblicious seedlings. These will be cloned and flowered for the next cycle, Jah willing. ha
You can see how the bagseed clones are growing right into the flouro tubes. Well, I suppose they must suffer for the benefit of the "good genetics." But, they are now moving down to the veg room anyway, so they'll have a better home.

This is what it looked like before the other three plants were moved.

Still Day 149/1
So, now some plants have been shuffled around... Plants look decent other than a little evidence of cramping... There seems to be no nute burn this time

Last pic, of course a pic of the whole closet: clone chamber up top, then veg, and flower on the right. Not your ordinary wardrobe, eh?

JOAMM DAY 150 - Flower Day 2
Quick look around. Not much should be different since yesterday, but we’ll check anyway!
Veg – still ok.

NL & BG in clone room – still growing. Ooh, so seedling.

Main flowering room. Leaves look droopy…They need to hurry up and get into their new home inside that hydroton planter!

JOAMM DAY 155 - Flower Day 7
Flower room:
Ok. So finally some attention to the flowering room.
The previous plants have been harvested, and we stuck three of the larger LST'd clones into flower 7 days ago. Today we will clean out the root balls from the previous plants, clean the planter, wipe down the whole room (hopefully not leaving behind any blasted pollen from last time), and bury the new plants into new (bleach cleaned) hydroton. Also, another plant, that has been pruned (Mambo #5 bagseed) will be added to the flowering room. This one will be about a week behind the others, but it should fill out the space just right. Added 50 % Bloom nutes & some extra P & K.
Pics
1 - Plants in pots awaiting transplant. They've been sitting there like that for 5 days being patient...now they get a new bed.

2 - Look at those thick stalk stumps from the TREES that were in here before.

Ya, mon.
Flower Day 7 (con't):
In this flowering, there are 4 different unknown strains. The numbers from our starting seedlings (with silly little made-up strain names) are:
10 (Rin-Tin-Ten)
6 (Sickly #6) lmao
11(Eleven from Heaven)
5 (Mambo #5)

All the vegging clones have been topped so they will bush out and stay short. They looked almost too good to top, but there really is not enough enough room to let them grow that tall, and more importantly, THE LIGHT CAN'T PENETRATE THAT FAR. Unfortunately, it would be pointless to keep the tops, even though they are SO healthy looking and would make wonderful clones. Just not enough room. Oh, well, rock on anyway!
There are two months left before any of these can be flowered. That's too long, so they will probably have to be left to grow a little more and then top them again...or LST them... We'll see.

The roots are starting to come out of the rockwool cubes and they should not be laying on the planter and right in direct light, soo... Time to clean house and lay down the main substrate (hydroton). Set up drippers...voila! The veg room will be kept running with the automated drippers with a 50% veg solution with a bit of superthrive...and some wetting agent.
