seedlings
I germinated a bunch of seeds: 10x Satori, 2x Sugar Shack, and 5x Northern Lights. I got one female NL, several female Satoris and only one of the Sugar Shack beans was any good (bagseed, might tend to hermie!).
I moved with some NL clones. I gave some away and kept 2, so those are the more mature plants in the flower chamber. They're being logged in the second grow in my sig. So yeah, here are some pics from when they were all young seedlings. In the first pic there are 4 NL on the left, then one Sugar Shack and 10 Satoris. The Satoris (Mandala) are just great! They are so hearty and vigorous. I had read all sorts of things about Mandala and their land race strains and when I saw it for myself the difference is even more profound than I thought. I have nothing but good things to say about these things! Even the seeds are fucking HUGE and healthly looking, all 10 sprouted. 'nuff said. ![]() The NL are BC Bud Depot if you're curious. The Sugar is bagseed. If you haven't heard of Sugar Shack google it. It's fantastic bud! Some of BC's finest. ![]() Second pic: Satoris Third: NL Fourth, fifth: all of them.

A few weeks later the Satoris have exploded! Booyakasha!
![]() In the bottom right corner you can see the Sugar. She topped herself, and was a bit deformed at first. I was a bit concerned but she turned out great. |

mothers
After choosing my mother I traded a couple of my Satoris for 2 God's Treat clones (God Bud x Dutch Treat, it's so dank the plants smell great while vegging!

Satori
The Satori is by far my favourite. I'm topping and tying down branches because I'm limited in height. It's fun too though.
![]() 1) Satori 2) Flower chamber, some girls just went down there on the left 3) God's Treat. I cleaned up the lower branches (on all of them). 4) Gorgeous Satori sisters 5) Random Northern Lights plant

bring in zee clones!!
I cut 10 Satori clones yesterday afternoon. In my 2 previous cloning endeavours I used rockwool and some rooting gel on the advice of a dude at the grow shop. He does know his stuff, but I wasn't very successful with the setup for whatever reason. Something like 20-50% success... pretty terrible right?
![]() This time I bought some jiffy pellets, and since I can't find the rooting gel (it's here, just got misplaced in the move) I purchased some stim root powder #2 as well. I obviously can't predict the outcome, but it looks very promising! The last clones I cut were not nearly this happy. These barely drooped yesterday, and this morning I was stoked to find them perky as ever reaching up to the light. Amazing! ![]() I'm especially happy because I am counting on a very high success rate. I plan to put 8 of these in a SOG as soon as they root well and my northern lights are done (7-10 days). I may veg them for a few days, but I'm waiting to see how stretchy the 2 flowering Satori ladies are after 2-3 weeks. Anyway, I also would like to keep at least 1 for a mother, as I won't need more clones for ~3 months and my current mother will be (too) huge by then. So I'm gunning for 100% success, which is fairly optimistic considering my record. Wish me luck. ![]()

Hey shove, turtle. Glad you like it.
![]() I wish the kitty were mine. She's fun to babysit. ![]() I'll probably be able to flower them in 2-3 weeks. The NL are supposed to be done in 3-10 days. They change fast so it's hard to say, but I think I'll leave them for at least 7 days. It all depends on the trichs; I'm aiming for 20-40% amber and I'm just starting to see a couple. It's day 46 and they're labeled 7-8 weeks. |

The clones were a bit droopy yesterday, a small one was right over so I gave them each some water with an eyedropper. The droopy one got 2 shots. There are roots growing on a stem that had rooting hormone on it (just above the pellet) so I think that they are doing just fine. Only way to tell is wait longer though.
[edit: today is the 5th day]I probably won't make a habit of posting boring pics of the mothers, but here's one. The last 2 pics are the flowering Satoris. That fan leaf is beautiful eh! How about that neem oil shine too, it really makes the girls photogenic.

We have roots! So far 7 of 10 are showing roots, and today is the 9th day.
Sorry for the crappy pics.

12 days... all of the clones have rooted and 7-8 of them are ready for the dirt. 100% success with this method, I will definitely stick to it!
![]() I'll post some pics of the clones before I plant them in the next couple days. |

The clones went in the dirt today, they couldn't wait any longer.
I tried to make a nice even canopy and it seemed to work. They're going to get some water soon, with some Thrive Alive and Karma. I think I'll water them after that then give them a 25% feed next time. 250ml for now, we'll see how it goes.8 of them will be flowered within the next week or so, I'm not exactly sure yet. I'll give one of the other 2 to my friend (bcchronic) and keep one to be a 2nd mother, just in case I guess.

Here are the mothers. The Sugar is hiding behind the Satori! I tried to get a shot of her without looking, it worked alright. I don't know what I'll do with this Satori mother yet if I run out of space. I wish I could flower her!

20 days in, here are some pics of the 2 Satoris and the lone God's Treat in the bloom chamber. The plant on the far left is a Northern Lights, bastard hermie I don't know if I'll cull it early yet or let it go. I digress.
The God's Treat already smells pungently sweet, I have smelled this in full bloom before and I cannot wait for my room to smell like that! ![]() The Satoris have a subtle smell so far. It's a bit lemony, pleasant. Starting to see some trichs on all 3 plants now. ![]() edit: the 2nd and 4th pic are Satoris, the 3rd is the God's Treat. |

5 weeks down, 2 to go!
My roommate snagged some shots of the God's Treat this morning. She's small, but damn is she gorgeous! She smells so good. The Satori does too.

the proud parent of a chronic nug
Here is that little God's Treat. She is just gorgeous! She was 32.8g when I cut her yesterday morning and she's now 18.1g. She smells so good I want to eat the damn thing.
![]() [pic #4] That is probably 6g of a 1/4oz for comparison... with the lighter. The last pic is one of my ladybugs on a Satori mother... maybe. Satori takes so long to flower! 9-10 weeks, compared to the Sugar Shack and God's Treat at 6-7 weeks. Plus I have K2 and Speed Queen seeds I need to grow sometime, so something has to go until I get a bigger place to grow. I digress... here are the pics.

The flower cab is really full now! I've got 18 girls in there, 2 big ones and 16 small ones. It's a certified SOG.
From left to right, there are the 2 big Satoris. These girls are 58 days into bloom now and have 10-14 days left. They are slightly different phenos, one lemony and the other more fruity smelling. They are both fairly resin-covered and the buds are starting to fill out very nicely. The last 3 photos here are the Satoris. I have a few more of them and then some of the 8 God's Treat in the middle, and also of the 8 Satoris on the far right.

More of the 2 big Satoris.

|

These 8 God's Treat in the first 2 pics have been flowering for 4 days with about 46 to go. I'm really stoked about these!
The last ones are the 8 Satoris at 32 days, about 38 to go.

And finally, more of the curing God's Treat nug. It weighs 7.6 now and the stems are close to snapping. I had to leave the lid off for an hour yesterday since there was so much moisture left inside. The grassy smell is fading and it's starting to smell sweet. I think I'm going to sample some this Friday!
