Caramelicious Grow Log

Ok, so i ordered some seeds from Buy Marijuana Seeds and cannabis seeds from Holland - high quality marijuana seeds (cannabis seeds), the ones that i got are the Caramelicious and also received 10 free seeds... BONUS! So i have started 5 of each for a total of 10 seeds. I put half the seeds in paper towel and half in Rapid Rooters to see which is best. Well come to find out the paper towel method is ALOT quicker and a better success rate so far. I am 100% on the paper towel and i am waiting on the last 2 in the rapid rooter to pop. So its been about 2-3 days since i have planted them and i do have several that have pop'd the top and one that is starting its first set. They are currently sitting in a propagation tray with a heating pad under the tray. They have a been doing well and they are also in the same tray as my clones from my other grow log, but since this is different i figured i would start another. All the free seeds have pop'd i am only waiting on the last 2 of the Caramelicious to pop.

I dont know if i will have some in a DWC or if i will go soil with them, so any suggestions that people have with this one would be great. The Caramelicious is suppose to be a hearty plant and good for beginners so we will see how this turns out. I will post some pics of the tray so you can get an idea of where i am at in this grow log.

some more eye candy. These are a few days old, they are currently past the 30day mark and are now getting the full shot of nutes. I have to say that the stalk on these things are freakin HUGE. The fan leaves are bigger than i had anticipated along with the growth, once these plants start taking off they get HUGE, so if you have this seed i suggest you make sure you have the room for these things. After about 30 days they are almost 2foot tall and are still not mature enough to flower...... When looking at these keep in mind that they are in a #5 size pot(around 3 gallon pot).
Enjoy...

Those are in 3 gallon pots? Dag, yo. They ARE big. You've got thrips too... pic#2... furthest left fan leaf... blade shown in top LH corner of the pic... silvery munch-marks.

Cool beans!
Funny, back when I was germing in peat-pucks (I HATE those things now haha) I was using the same plastic colored toothpicks to tell the plants apart.
I hear you've got quite a houseplant collection too...

Foxy - yeah, i have a small collection of house plants. The rubbertree plant i think is about 3.5 foot tall and about the same around, a few spider plants and one that is will be done going outside in the summer since the off shoots will actually complete the circle and be connected about 2-3 foot below the main plant. There are few more here there, i think last count i only had around 15-20 house plants.

CannabisCarl - Thanks, the soil is actually a combination to be honest. I started out putting the seeds in rapid rooters, then transplanted to an organic mix that was more "earthy", meaning had manure in it. I ran out of that stuff and had some fox farm organic, so they are actually sitting in two different kinds of soil. The nutes that i am using are Pure Blend Pro Grow, Cal Mag+, superthrive from time to time, and started some foliar feeding with GH Floramicro. I will be adding to that mix, Liquid Karma, Molasses, and one other that slips my mind at the moment. I follow the Botanicare feeding schedule, hasnt gone too wrong so far.

xxxhazexxx - thanks, the clones i took this past sunday are actually doing very well today. They did thier dip and now are back to seeking that light hardcore. So my thought on the clones is that i can get them to root and then send to flower since they will be about the right age and i can get the sex of the mother before harming it. Takes more time, but gives me more options in the long run. Especially since the free bag seeds that i got with the order i think have produced a hash plant and a couple of other extremely good growing plants with extremely good strcuture, just dont know the strain...wish i did, maybe i'll get lucky and get a white strain out of it......

Ok, so here's an update for ya on this strain. The stem is freakin huge, plant is growing like crazy, huge fan leaf's, and so far is one of my fav. The plants were pop'd around 9/25, so they are just over 30 days old, one plant is pushing the 3ft mark, and the other is right behind it. Nice structure, and all around enjoyable smell, not skunky but very sweet smell....

You do realize that 15-20 isn't an 'only' number when referring to house plants?

Thanks for the comments all, greatly appreciated....

So for those that have decided to grow this one out, i thought i would give you an idea of exactly how big this thing is after being pop'd from seed on 9/25. I took some pics this morning and placed a yard stick (3feet or 1 meter) on the top of the pot so you can see how wide these things are. I also got a free mixed bag and pop'd a few of those also and one has just been a squatter, although i'm hoping that its a hash plant, but i would like to hear from you if you think its a hash plant or not. The last 2 are of this plant, the name is unknown1 and unknown2, ones a top view and ones a side view.

3 feet tall? The website says 35-65 cm...you well exceeded that huh? I'm looking at growing the Carmelicious myself. It'll be my first grow. The site also says it is good for beginners. Would you recommend Carmelicious for me? Looks pretty good. Can't wait to see the result.
