Norki,
Vermont is cool. The state senate is talking about reducing the punishment for holding pot or decriminalization. I hope they do something major, not just a first offense small quantity civil offense and everything else as bad as it is now (felonies).
We had a 61 yo lady judge busted for 25 plants outdoors and she was given "court diversion", a civil offense (misdemeanor) with no record. I'd like to see that for anybody.

How tall are the plants now? Does topping them make them grow shorter or just increase the budding sites?
Great lookin grow man! Hopefully i'll be able to get back into it soon!
Peace!

Ahhh.
Come to find out, through talking to the parents, that I'm actually a third-generation grower. It's in my genes. My grandmother (dad's side) could never get it right, bless her, she never had the heart to kill a plant and remove the males from her crops. She continually grew 'schwag' right up until she passed away, stubborn old Cherokee! She was absolutely thrilled to get her recommendation, and got to enjoy it for about a year before she passed. When the family went to clean out her house, we found some plants outback, and I even found a small bag of hash under her recliner! Yeah Nana!
Dad brought it a bit further. He started out in his closet too; had his dad find them, got em' pulled, and moved on. A couple years down the road, he eventually ended up with a 'Best-in-Show' award form an underground and renowned (and recently written upon in High Times a few months back...) grow society. No shit. He grew that crop out of a small greenhouse in the backyard. Mom and dad waited until I was asleep, then went out and continued to trim a quarter-pound+ of bud in an RV they had parked in the side yard. When I was 7 or 8 I didn't know what that funny skunk-smell was coming out from under the house, HAH! Now I know. Unfortunately, dad never got to enjoy the benefits of Prop 215 in CA. He quit growing before the 'medical marijuana' movement really even started, out of sheer paranoia and concern for his own family.
Shit, I didn't start smoking until I was 14, and when the parents found out, I was busted too. Just like all of us. Dad didn't approve of me growing in the beginning either; probably due to old-school-paranoia. With a legitimate, legal medicinal recommendation though, and after a bit of explaining and time for it to settle, he eventually gave me the nod. Unfortunately, neither of my parents can smoke, let alone grow, due to their careers. Dad has had a chance to see my closet, and while he tries not to show it, but I can tell he's proud.

Thanks, that 1 dominant bud tops off at right about 2 feet above the soil. Most of the colas sit about 1.5 feet above. Topping does both of those at once.
Oh, and thank-you cwesto!

I am a lurker, and have yet to post one of my grows. I am very happy to see this C99 grow as I have 2 clones currently waiting their turn for flowering space. After watching yours get so damned perdy, I might just have to veg them for a bit longer and get many more clones off them! Keep up the great work!
Plan on growing Cindy again?

Thanks Gamma, Mac, SS, BigFattie, & 420.
yiGity, it smells like candy - crazy, sweet, dank candy.
Welcome Magneto! I would definitely recommend that! I have some more beans and will be hopefully establishing a mother, so yes. This lady is amazing.

Day 85 (Day 43 Flowering)
Finally got some good quality bud shots. Ugh, I hate hairs that get stuck on buds....another magnifying glass & tweezer session tomorrow....
I can't believe how fast things are moving in there, a week left feels so close, but so far at the same time.....

they look very uniform and solid. looks great. C99 is one of my all time favorites to grow. It can be so fruity and tropical, sweet as sugar.
