lol, thanks everybody.

Feeding nutrients:
  • Fox Farms - Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, & Big Bloom
  • Liquid Karma
  • occasional A.N. Growth Excel
  • tablespoon of blackstrap molasses for final feeding

I did foliar feed in veg. Not in flower. (Using Advanced Nutrients Growth Excel w/ Wet Betty)

I should have clarified that, by "final feeding" I mean the final time that I give it anything other than water.

I will be 'flushing' with ph'd tap water until harvest.

Unfortunately yes, I would have wanted to feed with it probably two or three times, but I could not find any unsulphered, blackstrap molasses for over two weeks....I was a bit busy to be hunting down molasses during the holidays.

But! I did get some good ol' Plantation brand unsulphered blackstrap molasses in at the last second.

Just water from here on out.

For my first time using the stuff, I kind of like using it once and seeing the results. Next time around, I'll be able to see what happens w/ molasses at earlier introduction and longer duration.

I would have used it for about the last 3-4 weeks though, yes.

I don't see any reason why you could not use molasses from the beginning of bloom though, just as long as it is used carefully. (Possible nute lock-out from too much iron? Attract bugs? Sticky soil?) That's the problem, I just don't know. I don't have experience using the stuff. We'll see though, right?

The stuff seems wonderful so far though. My buds smell great. Everything seems happy.

Grocery store. I tried 4, no luck, found it at the 5th. Try smaller sized chains, that's what happened in my case; none of the 3 'major' supermarket chains carried it.

LOL, gotta be you aren't used to shopping in the "cooking and baking" section of your grocery. I swear, they all carry "unsulphered molasses". It's a main cooking ingredient. Glad you found it. I first used molasses at 1/2 tablespoon to the gallon and had no troubles. This grow I upped to 2 tablespoons to the gallon. No sticky dirt, no bugs, no nute problems. I used the molasses only in flower and once every three waterings.

That is one nice, big crop you have coming there, Norki How long now, three more weeks? WOW!

Thanks Shov, I think I have actually changed my mind now. I will be adding another round of molasses into the mix.

Today is day 40 of flowering. I'm guessing that 2 of the ladies will be ready right around day 50, and the 2 other ladies will be ready maybe 2-3 days after that. Weird huh? The 2 ladies that are maturing a little faster are the ones 'in front' of the closet, (the 4 pots are staggered 2 front, 2 back) the 2 'in back' are a tad slower, I honestly think it was due to the difficulty to water correctly in such a tight space; or maybe lack of ventilation? Anyway, a little under 2 weeks left.

She says we have much family in the Barrie area. She has fond memories of going to Joe's Pond and traveling the back dirt roads...

The mods know my age, but I really don't feel totally comfortable revealing it to all. I'm not exactly 'old' though. Let's put it that way. I've come a long way in a short time I guess.

My parents are old hippies. lol. They dig the fact that I am legal and have a card. I showed mom the log(s) today when I was over at her house, she hasn't had a chance to see the closet in person yet. She was speechless. lmao.

Oh totally understandable.. i almost didnt ask, i thought it may have been asking to much. The only reason i asked tho was b/c my parent would kill me, shit they dont even like me smoking the stuff, even tho they were once hippies too.... i think being stuck in an office building and forced to wear suits their whole life has made them a little bitter u kno lol

I dont know where u started from, but i will agree u have mad skill and u have produced some absolutely stunning plant my friend. I would love to take a lesson or two from u, I think u have a very green thumb.. I was going to put the greenthumb smiley, but i think they took it off.

I wish the Admin ould put that one back up, that was my favorite of the smileys... oh well

Keep up the good work my brother/sister in cannabis.
