400w HPS, 5 gal DWC First grow
Howdy everyone...So this is my first grow, already in to it a bit, but figured I need to make a log to get help with problems etc.
Set up:
Good sized walkin-ish closet
400w HPS lamp off ebay
5gal built myself hydro bucket(non recirculating, but hopefully after christmas, i will have a 2-3 bucket recirculating system)
General Hydroponic 3 part nutes
Floralicious plus
Fulvic Acid that my local hydro store actually makes
White Widow from Nirvana seed shop, close to a month old total (including germination seedling etc). So only about 2.5 3 weeks veg total..I have to start flowering by the end of this week due to christmas break. I will be out of town and i live by myself so i cant tend to my baby. I will have to finish this plant(WHICH GOD I HOPE IS A FEMALE!)before christmas. But after christmas, new grow, etc, shall be AWESOME!

Is that a honeywell fan? Hah. I have the same one sitting in my closet.
You should look into one of those feminizing foliar sprays 
she looks nice and compact, btw :]

its natural I think.. not everything is possible to be female BUT I hope yours is

yes it is a honey well fan...i also have one in the top that is acting as an exhaust fan. i'll get some pics later and post it, it works very well.vents the light pretty good and temps usually stay around high 80's ambient. the temp around the plant is always high 70's since that one fan is blowing on it and around it.works good, but growing one plant at a time is very very ineffective from seed...so hopefully after christmas ill have a 2 bucket or maybe 3 4 smaller bucket recirculating system so that i can produce some more plants and then hopefully get to taking some clones...i might try and take some clones from this baby near the end of her flowering stage...ive read that stinky as performed this on a regular basis, and it just requires proper cloning...so maybe 2 or 3 weeks before finish ill cut a few clones to hopefully have ready to go when i return...gotta build a clone bubbler by then too :-D

Your water level seems a little high. Do you have it in rockwool also or just the hydroclay? If so you might wanna lower the water level a bit if its a DWC system. You are putting your plant at risk for stem rot.

Yea ive come to realize that im letting the water get too high...very bottom of my stems are a bit slimy and black in some spots...i'm gonna go fix this now

Hey Pooty, I'm just in the last stages of finishing my DWC system. Its 5 gallons as well, but in a storage container instead of a bucket. Anyways, I have to wait for some space to free up before I can start using it, so I'll be checking in on your grow quite a bit. Good job!

Got bored and did some picture taking practice...That second picture is my mutant leaf that looks kinda coooool 
Plant seems to be fine, will go under flowering light on sunday...We shall see, first grow, first try at all of this with no TDS or PH meter...hydro is hard without all the right equipment! hopefully some money in the future will help me get the rest of what i need to grow...this was like my test run to see if i could even grow pot where i live etc...i dont think ill ever cross over 3 or 4 plants at a time...Femenized seeds would be amazing...i should order a bunch.

If I were you, I'd just grow non feminized seeds, find your prized female, and then keep her for cloning.

well i need to get another room set up in my opposite closet for veg/clone area...that will have to wait till after christmas...so hopefully after christmas ill pop 2 white widow and 2 northern lights...and hopefully get some females..we shall see!

Good luck with your grow.You might want to recheck your time schedules if you want everything to be done by Christmas.Even at 8 weeks your running out of time.Last summer I did a run of WW and let them go 9and1/2 weeks and could have let them go a bit longer but they had to come down because of the heat.If I can I try not to put my girls on a set schedule or on my time schedule.Rather if I can I let the girls talk to me and tell me when they are ready to come down.Good luck and keep us updated.Take care,be well,and be safe

some new growth...this sucker is DENSE! she's not stretching for the light really at all, she just keeps getting bushier and bushier...topping really caused the lower branches to really develop...so im hoping that she'll still produce an ounce or two
