I wait 2 weeks from sprouting. Reason being the roots are to sensitive at such a young age plus there are enough nutes in the soil in the beginning.

Finally I am getting down to doing this. She was the biggest looking of all the plants but yeild wise she came in 2nd place at 127g or 4.5 ozs. just as I suspected she dried out to very light and fluffy buds that have a nice fruity smell. The main cola's are still the biggest that I have only dreamed of untill now. The biggest came in at just under a half ounce, all put together it came in at 2.5 ozs. of cola bud.

The smoke is slightly sweet with a touch of say a mango taste. Buzz wise she hits you hard and fast that leaves active but with a major case of CRS ( Can't Remember Shit )

All and all I give her around an 8.5 out of 10.

Well here are the total weights by plant and rating out of 10.

White Widow #6, 99grams, 9.0 rating
Mystery Widow, 104 grams, 9.5 rating
Mystery #3, 96 grams, 7.0 rating.
Purple Power #8, 101 grams, 10.0 rating.
White Widow #4, 126 grams, 10.0 rating
White Widow #9, 138 grams, 9.0 rating
THCB #1, 77 grams. 9.5 rating.
THCB #2, 111 grams, 9.5 rating.
THCB #3, 127 grams, 9.0 rating.

Total Weight this grow (drum roll please) 979 grams or 1 gram under 35 onces or 2 Lbs. 3 ozs.

I did it over 2 lbs under 1-600watt Hps.

Now the total of the experimental grow I had going on the side. Now get this 254 grams or 9 ounces.

So the combined weight of both grows is 2.75 Lbs. of prime bud. I have never had so much bud of this quality before, and think I invested less than $1,000.00 in this entire operation.

The sad thing is, this is the end of this grow log and I can't wait untill the fall so I can challenge this total again. Which maybe some of the same and maybe somethng different. Only the bug on my shoulder knows.

Hey man, sorry to keep this thread going but I had one more quick question for you.

Which FF products did you use? I see 6 for ferts, did you use all 6?

Yes I use all 6 ferts, It is expensive stuff, for all 6 it is around $100.00 but certain ones will last for many grows (the granular one's may be enough for 50 indoor grows) the liquid forms go somewhat fast. In this grow I went thru 1/2 bottle Grow Big, 1 bottle Tiger bloom, and 1 1/2, bottles Big Bloom. (Bottle=32 fl.oz.)
And just barily made a dent into the powders. This was for 9 plants that spent the entire flower in 5 gal buckets and veged in 2 gal buckets.

How do I like the THCB?

Hmmmmm. I guess the best way to put it in scale form.
Ease of growing and cloaning: 10, both very easy.
Yeild: 10, plants 2 & 3 produced over 1/4 Lb.
Smell after curing: 9.5 sweet strawberry smell.
Smoke taste: 9 it is a sweet smoke with a hint of strawberry but expansive and hard to hold a bong hit down, Take very small hits.
Buzz: 9.5 The buzz is a good one almost as good as the widows and PP.

Would I grow it again? Hell YAHHH.

Is it my favorite?
Nope! The blueberry has the best taste so far. PP best looking colors and buds, Best buzz WW #4

I thought I would bring this back to the front page for the new members, and I am having problems trying to link it to my cuurent logs.

And the main reason is I have a new grow going and have 10 confirmed females and maybe 2 to 3 more and I am in a bind with space, as you can see in this grow I only had 9 plants and used every bit of space. Now my current grow I have maybe up to 13 females and they are even bigger than the 9 in this grow.

Would you consider the THCB to be medicinal? The specs on it seem like that but you are the only person I have seen that has even grown the strain.

So Jerry or anyone else who cares to shed some insight and help me out a little will 20 or so plants be too much for a 600 watt hps emitting 95,000 lumens to support.

I did the math and with each plant recievig 3000-4000 lumens I still have plenty of lumens to spare so what do you guys think is 20 plants too much?

I am going to purchase this light in a matter of days but I need your opinions first. Responses to this post would be greatly apprciated I am kind of stuck on what to do.

Almost forgot to add Grow space will be 52"Lx52"Wx6'H, pots sizes are four gallons approximately 10 inches wide. I was thinking about Lining pots either 4x5 or 5x4, some with some space left between each for when leafs spread.

I will veg for about 1-2 weeks or probably switch to 12/12 once plants reach 8-10 inches. I will also have probably about 2 4ft flouros on 2 of 4 sides for side lighting. HPS will be vented hood type.

Why 20 plants? I did 32 cloans under a 400 watt for most of their life, then I was able to do 3 weeks a 600 watt HPS for finishing. Also only 24 made it to completion, this was an experiment I and got 8 ounces out of it.

You do have more space than I did. My horizontal space is 48'' x 48'' I am currently growing out 12 females in this space. This was not planned on but I started 15 seeds expecting around a 40% male ratio and only had 3 males leaving me with 12 females. I cannot kill a female plant so I am in the middle of a barely under control grow.

I guess I need to ask a few questions before giving advice on how to proceed.

Are you starting from seed or cloans?

What strain or strains are you going to grow?

What is your Goal? Be specific on yield, quality, and time frame. The first 2 goals are directly affected by time, a decrease in veg time will decrease yield, a decrease in flower time will decrease yield and will affect the type of high.

Sorry I did not see your post until now.

Medicinal uses for THCB? I am fortunately not suffering from any ailments and I am not a doctor. So prescribing a strain or identifying medicinal qualities should be left to the people that know what they are talking about.

This is a very serious question and any wrong advice could have serious implications for someone in need. So I am politely going to pass on answering this question.

I will be going from clones, The strains will be AK47 and THC Bomb. I was thinking about getting possible 1 pound of each strain best scenrio for the entire grow.

I was going to do about 12 AK47 and 8 THC bombs or probably 10 and 10. I am only doing 20 plants to make sure all plants get enough light so I can atleast have a decenct yeild.

The quality I am going for is high to mids and my time frame is as long as it takes for trics to be the right color. Or if you have any suggestions on a faster yeild. I will be using the entire fox farm line of nuts (liquids and soluables)

I have given this alot of thought and done some research into this. And here is my recomendation.

I would try and do only 9 to 12 plants per grow!!!

Reasoning: With 9 plants I had room to move things around with some difficulty but manageable. I am growing 12 now and it is causing a whole different set of problems. The 12 plants I am currently growing have no space on the sides to grow so they just go up causing issues with them getting to close or even above the light and the upper canopy is to thick to let light down to the lower parts of the plant. And to be honest just because it is 12 plants I don't think I will gain in yeild over 9 plants.

There is this fine line in growing, when you grow too many plants in a confined space this will decrease your yeild and I feel 20 is definatly crossing it.

Look I got 2 1/4 LBS out of 9 plants and if you follow my logs and mirrior what I did you should end up with something close to that, adding more plants to the mix does not garentee the same or better outcome.
