ok, Galina seems to be goin back to normal.
the light was definately closer than 15inch.
now its set to 16 inch from p-scrog 
will advise

In my case, neither is the 2nd or 3rd or 4th. But I am a tinkerer and perfectionist so I am kinda screwed by my own nature!

hahaha, believe me when i tell ya, i KNOW what ur talkin about.
i got 3 letters for you O. C. D. 
MJ is the only way i stay fairly normal, without going and laying on a couch, talking to an overpaid old guy with a long beard who will put me on all kindsa pills that will put me in a fog of uselessness.
I refuse to give up my mental edge, the world moves too fast 
on the up side tho, i did refine the construction process,,,
the bends i now make on the edge of my kitchen table...
i wear gloves during construction instead of shredding my hands,,,
employing tools to twist the wires together,,,
definately too much free time for my mind to work on countless scenarios, issues and solutions
on another upside, today i mixed 3 bags of assorted soils plus 1 perlite,,,moved all 5 of the other sprouts to full-size pots, moved the 2 larger 'reds' to flower, due to space issues in the veg bunker with the 5 new 'full-sized' residents,,,,,figured out the Liquid Light will likely create magical growth in veg if used early and continuously,,,,,and as miracles must still exist, it looks like the trichs on those super-slo-mo Thais may finally be getting more cloudy, i didnt check w the scope yet, but there were areas that the crystals were whitish to the naked eye, for the 1st time ever.
wow, what the hell made me type all that???
i gotta go to bed

nearing the end of week 5 flwr
have applied LL 5 x's so far
she seems pretty happy.

Hey Rock....looking good.. but i don't really understand, that in pots that big....shouldn't your plants be a li'l bigger???
How often do you water them??? and how much do you give em????

hey Zeb, nice to see ya.
the pots are 12 x 12, approx 3 gal?
watering varies, using a moisture meter and usually wait til it reads 'dry-dry/moist' more than 1/2 way down to allow the roots to get air. about once ev 5 days, roughly and bout 1/2-3/4 gal water with Big Bloom per directions.
Galina was heavily LST'd b4 she got caged.
the branches curl around a good 30-40% of the distance.
i think if she stood up straight she's over 2 ft.
is that small?
i swear, i dont know.

Well i think you should def. give her more water...like between the feeding whit Big Bloom, every 2. day,give her clean water 1/3 or 1/4 gal....bcuz i think she is a little thirsty.....
but of course, i am not sure...

Yes its small. The thing is....Rock can't stop playing with them....fixing them.....helping them.....pruning etc etc etc......and I think it's slowed growth way down. I've mentioned it several times but......well....you can see....sigh. I honestly think the same exact things leads to his having more males than females cause his ratios are backwards when it comes to that.
Rock you are also not supposed to be using the LL at five weeks of flower and i won't ask why you still are because you are certainly going to stop.

hey UR plant looks like she has a rock & steady home.
so yah just watch thouse buds R gunna get bigger in the comming weeks. I bet that (fo sho FO SHO).

playing? no. fixing? um, no. helping? I thought so, been followin Opie's lead in regard to poking leaf down or over. now i did just read ur take on that particular activity. well, this whole scrog thing is brand new for me, so, i'm trying to learn.  ,. finally, u suggest i've been Pruning??? here's a disclaimer for u: positively no sharp instruments of any kind have been used on this grow since she was topped, none, zero, zip, zilch, nada, neit, nonononono. not this time. i learned on the thai.
actually, i have found that with the screen, i have no desire for pruning, because i have been able to poke the leaves outta the way of more budsites than i'd ever be able to clip to open up.. matter of fact, i havent even forced the dried shrivly leaf off the underside of the growth. i'm lettin her decide what she wants to do and when. so, what did i do? there was once or twice in the last week when she grew and started mashing a flower into the screen, so, i nudged that branch about 0.5-1 inch, to help save the flower. if that was bad, ok, tell me, noted and i will remember, but i woulda thought that was helping. *shrugs shoulders*
now, im not exactly sure what u mean about me causing males thru stress, thats a curious thought. As far as i understood, and maybe i am wrong (im NO expert at all, strickly a rookie, surrounded by pro's and veterans) but, i thought, (#1)a male is a male is a male, and (#2) a female, may hermire if u screw her around or have lite leaks, etc. but then (#3) there's a hermie, who automatically has the ability to go both ways and only thru tuff-love, like leave em alone and | |
