This is probably because of the stimulation of the meridian system of the plant at the range it is most “vocal” in, 100 hertz, which causes the plants to increase their output at that frequency threefold

Found that here:
http://sps.nus.edu.sg/~tanshenm/2171.pdf

Also found this:
The perceived pitch of a person's voice is determined by a number of different factors, not least of which is the fundamental frequency of the sound generated by the larynx. A person's natural fundamental frequency is influenced by many factors, including the length, size, and tension of the vocal folds. In an adult male, this frequency averages about 125 Hz, adult females around 210 Hz, in children the frequency is over 300 Hz.

from: Vocal folds - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So maybe this explains why Bob Marley works well for you SnS...I find it very interesting...I may be right....but for now....

off the LEDs for a sec, wanted to show you guys the 2 main phenotypes i got with my cross. for the noobs, its jack herer x bubbleberry.... first pic, we'll call her mary of course (look at lil sis growing next to her...suprise seed that didnt germ with the rest), is the more sativa ish plant...thinner leaves, stretchier. the second is the one that has 6 tops...we'll call her titties...my shoice, dont ask. much bushier, wider, and darker leaves....then the last 2 are of the mystery seeds...either its one of the parents, ima stoner, lost the packet it was in, labeled...or bagseed from some WW or skywalker....well know more as we see more titties

Foliar Feeding

I'm pretty "medicated" right now and don't feel like reading 20 pages...

Are you foliar feeding? How often? Would it be worth it to foliar feed once a week?

Also, can you take some close up pics of the nodes with the preflowers? That stuff is always cool to me.

Peace!

That would be true, except for the part where it's not. If you can get them in 2700, or better yet 2450K, then what you're saying could be true. It takes twice as many lumens to induce the same chlorophyll activity at 3000, than it does at 2700. It takes about 4 times as many lumens at 3000 than it does at 2450. So I really don't see how the bulbs you speak of will do much better for the dollar. That's why T-5 sucks for flowering. Nothing below 3000K.

Oh crap, sorry SnS. I thought I was in the other thread. Can't delete.

Don't you love it, repeating the same shit over and over? I think it's going to happen in our longer threads no matter what. There are going to be people just tuning in instead of following from the beginning, and they are not going to want to read all 20 pages or whatever to find out how tall the plants are.

PS. Even some of us stoners that have been following from the beginning need some refresher courses from time to time.

Isnt it ironic? dont ya think? lol

Thanks opie I think sometime tonight or tomorrow morning ill put together a data post w/ as much pertinent info as i can, that way it can be referred back to by page & #. no problem yeah we all need refreshers now & then.

Yeah they can be combined but we wont be doing that.and the post will be finished , and based on the few led grows w/ inferior equipment and the yields theyre starting to obtain, that it will be a very happy day once it arrives

the force is strong in this one...lol (i must be blitzed)
