11-12 weeks jerry?...must be growing some straight sativas....i meant 2/3 throught the grow...maybe 9 weeks, tops, for flowering

Toss me in with the "signed up because of this thread" crowd. I even sat here tonight and read the thread from beginning to end. More thoroughly than skimming but less than every single word, anyway. Not to be inflammatory, but I very nearly walked away from the forum and never came back after those first few pages of relative negativity, but I'm glad I stuck with it to the end.
You're well on your way to convincing me to try something similar once I'm able to afford it. (obviously, the end results will matter most) I'll have to pop over to the LED Theory thread to see if an idea I have brewing has been mentioned yet. At any rate, I mainly started this post to thank you for rolling the dice on a big chunk of change just in the name of experimentation. I don't know if I could've done the same thing in your place.. $1800 would go a long way in working on my project car, among other things. Good luck with the rest of the grow. Back to lurking for me..

I am growing White Widows, THC Bomb, and other unknown strains. Last grow I went by age not trics and havested at 8.5 weeks and had an impresive yeild. This grow I am following the way Opie, Shovelhandle, and the FAQ section as to when a plant is ready to harvest when the first amber trics appeare. I just finished week 11 on 2 plants and the difference in size from week 8 to week 11 is 2x. Put it this way last grow 8.5 of flower, 9 plants 15.5 oz yeild. This grow, 11 weeks of flower, same plants (Cloans) 9 total, 2lbs + yeild. Yes some of this is due to a better grow this time around but the bud size difference at 8 & 11 weeks is very noticeable. Just my 2 cents, Go by trics at harvest not time or hairs. Now back to subject, you have almost got me sold on these lights, just waiting for the pudding. GREAT WORK so far!! JG

hey saw you seemed a bit concerned on the light situation how's that doin?? you prolly need more wattage just a guess tho? like 3 more procyon's hey do you have any specs on the procyon really looking for the nm range on the cree's havin trouble navi'n their website and getting the model used in the procyon i only have gotton the info on it from indooragriculture 56 CREE* Xlamp high power LEDs (40 635nm, 16 450nm) i think someone said 450nm was a deathzone?? anywho blb too see the pic's

it's a matter of additional wavelenths not more of what you have you have approx 300watts and 9 laidies breaks down too approx 33 watts per lady it will be really nice too see what that yeilds it is really great of you todo do this experiment
