update....
culled 4...the other 2 churches didnt make it..oh well...the one that popped is on here second set of leaves, with everyone else...and they are FAT little leaflets!!
the other 2 culls where BR..didnt wanna lose those, but for some reason, they sprouted, and shriveled without opening their cotyledons...just a stem and a ball..minus hull....made sure the film from inside the seed was off, and it was...so not sure what happened there...
ALL the others are doing GREAT...they may get a transplant to the 1gals on 7-10 days...except the church, she gets a 3 gal.....lol, may be forcing her to hermie....but defintely breeding her, may use some of her chick pollen on a SNL too....hmmmmm
anyways...alls good in the hood....

hey again there whiskey tango. sorry i never went ahead with that grow log but life was just gettin in the way to much......but..........
just as i heard ya mention the 660s, i had been designing a lamp and was goin assemble it for my own grow but as i said earlier, just no time. so i'm havin a guy who does assembly to lay it all down nice on pcb and i'm gonna put it all in a nice lil case with a coolin fan as i'll be consuming about 280W. gonna get a friend to do a grow with it as soon as i've got it as i like it (gettin it as good as i can cause its a nice time consuming hobby at the moment) but i'll try persuade him to post in here. it's gonna have about 9 different frequencies dont have em all with me but its gonna have 60w of 660
anyhow great to hear the beans have hatched.
much good karma and un-needed luck headin your way

Looks like your lil' ladies have a good start, WT/SnS! It never fails to amaze me the rapid growth those lil' buggers will undergo. It won't be long, and you'll be puffin' on them! By the way, nice plug on the Procyon above - you're re-thinking the bumper sticker on the pot idea, eh?

is it just me or are only some of those plants affected by this issue? just curious. some of those other little ones look great.

do you leave the lights on 24/7? when i grew mine i just set them to 18/6.. not sure if that would make a difference here.

Aloha, WT, and Mahalo.

I'm no expert, but I have been growing under 4 handhewn Led arrays for a while.
I'm also no diplomat so, I'll say up front that you guys are my heros. ;-}.
So please excuse my blunt style as I chip in 2 cents

There's two thing about the styrofoam cups that can give you grief. First, they are a little short for canna-lings.
The first thing a wet bean does is spike a 4" tap root. It curls up at the bottom of a 3" cup and never quite gets over it.
Then there's water retention. Bottom holes only drain when sitting on a porous surface, so we end up punching drain holes in the sides of the cup. That leaves a pool of stagnant water where the tap root is stuck.
If you use any nutes at all, even 1/4 strength, they concentrate
in the stagnant puddle and kick the PH out of range.
In your shoes, I'd get them in the soil right away, and cut the light way back.
Then I'd raise the light until they stretch, then hold it there and throw about 15Watts of blue on 'em to stop the stretch and keep the internodes tight.

Dey prolly gonna be alright. Jus' no love 'em too much.
<clink tinkle>

Good luck.
Wee Zard

WeeZard just blasted my mind with some serious insight into the 3" cup. Maybe you could use a cookie cooling rack to set larger cups on with holes poked into the bottom to allow drainage into your tray?

Back to the bathroom, then back to the movie....

Weezard does have a good point there... try what he said and transplant them into something deeper with better drainage.

I hope this batch can recover!

If not, just use taller cups next time with more drainage holes... and shoot for a 50/50 mix of perlite and plain potting soil.

thanks for all the imput guys!!
these are 16 oz cups...not 8...so they are actually tall....the seedlings are only 10 days old...I have grown them substantially bigger in these cups before with no issues...I mean plants can get taller than this in a rapid rooter!
But weezard, I appreciate your imput, and who knows....may transplant em soon just for the hey of it if nothing else works....Put the humidity dome back on it to see if that helps too......keep yall posted
wondered if the 3 lights are too much, but i dont think too much is possible with these lights....worked fine starting the other grows.....
damnit........

SNS my plants are doing great I put them in the planters you see most plants come in gallon containers with the holes in the boottom and sides and put hangers under them to drain any excess water from them. I also put a fan in the closet and that has made it to where I can water it everyday instead of every 4 days. My Master kush plant is starting to grow some nice buds on them and I still have it 4 feet above the plants I have six of them going now and they all are looking great. The Master kush I have growing I brought in from outside is taking off it was perhaps a month old when I brought it in, I knoced off all the dirt from it and put it in potting mix and after a week of looking like it was limp it has been nothing but great since.

Stealth I agree with the rest of the group. I had an SNL x NH in a six inch pot for a couple weeks and it turned out to be UNDERFED....not OVERFED and it did better in a larger pot with FFOF soil. I say transplant to new soil.....perhaps some Happy Frog?

And while you can possibly "get them bigger" in your cups it's obviously costing you in plant health. TRANSPLANT UP!!

(worked for me and my babies.....about the same size as yours are now...)

Yeah I was really afraid to transplant because the plant already looked overnuted with the yellowing lower leaves etc......but it just kept getting WORSE looking so I went ahead and put it in a one gal with FFOF and 1/3 Happy Frog.......the bottom leaves are turning green again and the plant is doing much better!! Hope it works for your kids too.

PS.....mine are same strain.....SNL x NH.

Aloha Stealth.

I know how ya feel. "Done it before, worked jus' fine
Stickin' to what worked jus' fine last time almost doomed my grow.
Den realized that every strain, heck every plant is unique in some way. I've had to pull 'lings from 6" pots and found the tap curled before the second set of leafs was out.
I'm blessed with plenty of head room, so I no need to stunt 'em by crampin' dey toes.
You guys got grit, holdin' down a job and growin'.
I'm a retired loafer with a small grow and it's allways sumthin' more that needs to be done.
Read through your last two grows, learned plenty, Mahalo.
Real happy that your new pups are perky again!
Been lurkin inna corner here, feelin' like a stepgramps.

Regard.
Wee Z.
