Update...The first pic is the Church, she seems to be pulling outta whatever funk she was in...
The second is the SNLxNH, I don't know what the fuck is going on here. The Ph is 6.8 nutes are being fed lightly, every other watering. They are getting the "wet" and "dry" periods, so I know its not over watering. Temp is 78-80, and RH is 55-60%. So, I dont fucking know. CalMag maybe needed?
The last three pics are group shots by strain. SB, BR, and the HKxBI respectively.
There is one HKxBI going nutty in there, lol. Got pre-flowers already too on it. So since breeding and seed stock seem to be the shifting priority, these guys will probably get switched to 13/11 instead of 12/12, this weekend. I am doing 13/11 since I am on 24 now, hoping for a lil more growth before taking clones next weekend. Thats the plans at least... The SNLxNH from the other grow is coming in here, and whatever is breeding is going over there. More on that later, to high to type anymore....

Stealth have you checked the ph of the runoff on the SNL x NH?

Mine will do that too.....but immediately stop when I transplant them into fresh soil.....I can toss up a pic of my soil ones if you want....they do the same that but, again, always stop when I put them in fresh soil so perhaps try a transplant?

Also had some bugs....whiteflys etc sneaking in the house at night (in the living room....not the bloom room thank goodness) so when I sprayed my plants with bug spray they improved alot as well. BUT I think your yellowing is a soil/ph issue.

For you SNLxNH, have you tried lowering the ph? Or do you think that is what's causing the burn? Or do you think that the one specific leaf that's on it's own stem has gotten blocked off (Nute block) possibly? I'm just throwing ideas out there for you to respond to...

Looks like your Church is doing fine now, glad to see that, and your HKxBI is quite a Bee-you-t!!

Yeah looks like you need calmag. The RUNOFF is 6.8? Check that again. What's the paper? thrip protection? Try a paper plate that extends beyond the sides of the pot if you want it to be effective, and get it up OFF the soil surface to improve air flow. Otherwise it's just mulch.

Thanks guys!! Will check run off and dose with Cal-Mag. Just transplanted recently into a 3 gal...Saw a few gnat lookin teeeny bugs in there, but they dont seem to be minding the plants..no evidence yet...

Git it off dey feet, please.

At the very least.
With HIDs it'll overheat the soil.
With LEDs it'll suck up the light.
Point a tempgun at that pot, even under LEDs, you may be surprised.
Poly, white side up is great fo' cover da soil, Myla work too, but dey no breath,
I use Plain old paper towels, folded double, den again, cut da inner corner, make a slit.

Dey breath,
dey stop fungus gnats,
dey keep feets cool,
dey reflect,
an' bonus, dey glow bright white under da UV from blue LEDs.

Sure dey get soggy, but dey cheap n handy.

I see the Duct tape on the rims with the sticky exposed.
Nice trick! I'm gonna steal dat. Hope you no mind.

Sorry fo' be blunt, I worry 'bout dese kidz.

Trouble!

If those tee ninety bugs ARE fungus gnats, dey keikei are eatin' your roots!
Get some of those yellow stickpapers for the hatching adults.
They no bodder da girls, dey jus' mate and lay thousands of eggs in moist soil.
Eggs hatch, fungus maggots eat, well, fungus.
But, dey also eat tiny feeder hair off da roots.
Adult plants jus' get slowed down and eventually outrun da maggots, but seedlings are in mortal danger!
Berry berry bad ting here!
Be aggresive!
I bought a pesticide, let the girls get real dry, actually let 'em wilt just a little, then mixed the poison and a little detergent in some aerated water and flushed da pots.
Be sure to cover 'em right away, or the flies will lay more eggs that hatch about the time the pesticide degrades.

Dude, gnats suck! One of my local hydro shops sells these little critters they keep in the fridge that will eat the larvae of those gnat fuckers. Take care of them quick before they get too outta control. They are a predatory organism of some type that is sold in a sponge - kinda looks like the inside of a tissue after someone blows their nose. Gross looking but worked for me when my dirt moms got the bug.....

Why didn't I think of that

If I can't find any that Glow under the blue. I'll just glue paper towels to the top of the plates an' some yellow sticky papers onna bottom.
(I think my gnats are gone, but, mo' betta safe dan sorry.)

An , dunno 'bout da pyrethium.
That's what I used and some new adults just hatched.
Looks like the eggs and/or larvae can go dormant when it's too dry and just wait.

Howzit, first post here on da site, I'm a long time prowler on all of your threads for your LED grow experiments. Thank you so much for all the detailed information.

I'm in the process of building a grow shack, I'm leaning heavily towards using LED's for my veg growth. I live in Hawaii, so we have ideal budding light year round.

Even though the Procyon is a bit overkill for me, I think that I will go that route. It would be nice to have the option of budding under lights if a weather system blows for a few days during the winter. Last Feb, we received 23 inches of rain in 48 hours and just 20 miles away had over 48 inches in that span.

WT/SNS: How happy are you with the lights? Would you do it again? Does the light fully cover your grow area, or do you notice that plants positioned in certain spots do better than others?

Once my new operation is under way, I'll post some pix. It will be a few weeks.

dosed em with an organic insecticide/fungicide...mostly fish oil...room smells like blue crab now....lol Mixed it in with the watering, and gave a light foliar with it just in case....

WT, your grow seems to be going well, despite some possible nute and bug issues. That 1 HKxBI is insane! Any thoughts to keeping it as a mom since it's such a flippin' monster? I'm glad to see your plants have made an excellent recovery from their early issues, and I hope you are able to address the nute and bug issues quickly. I am glad to see you have some insightful members with much experience in here to lend you good advice.

Stealth I've been having bug issues too....not gnats but white flys and they have done some damage. I made it worse by not realizing it was bug damage and tried some other treatments before I ended up blasting the bugs and solving the problem. Hope it works for you too.

Gnats are particularly frustrating. They dig down into the dirt and hide there, laying eggs that larvae attach to the roots and cause their health to deteriorate. I ignored them as an inconvenience until funky things started happening with root rot, etc. and by then it was a MUCH bigger problem... and harder to solve. It sucked bad. Kill those little fuckers and their eggs ASAP.
