knew i could flower sooner. how much is it going to effect my yeild? I did it anyway especially after reading a few things about led taking longer to flower. So they are currently in the middle of their 36 hours of darkness.

well no signs of sex yet. Hopefully in the next few days so i can get the males out and focus lights on females a little more. They all seem to be doing well even the one that almost died from lack of water the one time.( just a little stunted). Started feeding with Foxfarms tiger bloom and openseasame.

Need your opinions even though i'm pretty sure. if they aren't balls then they are ridiculously swollen calyx's lol. I know the pictures aren't the best. the camera isnt the best but i did what i could hope they are clear enough. Only one other one looks to be going male and its the one that was under watered so i guess if there are any more hopfully its that one. and no more other wise this is going to turn into a very small grow with too much light . Oh well let me know if u guys can tell from the pictures. oh it was the biggest one and the widest leafed one... oh well.

Well, my eyes ain't wut dey usta be. But, looks like males. The big bushy ones often are, just a cruel trick of fate.

How many females / unknowns ya got now? (with the male flowers that far along, you should have some "white hairs" poppin' up elsewhere, yes?

All you need is ONE female.

Here is a possible alternate plan:

Take some female clones. If you have 'em under low light, low temp, low fans, biggish pots, you should be able to leave 'em alone over 4-5 days. You've actually got time to chicken out and put your flowering female(s) back into veg, too, although that may not be necessary.

You can also put cuttings in the fridge in "suspended animation." I've brought them back after 5 weeks before--hadda ditch the grow during home remodeling.

Read Stinky's threads about cloning. It's easy, and fun. I like the Rapid Rooters with Dip-n-grow for a stimulant, jes' like Stinky sez. Check it out. Makes life much easier. Quick turnaround, too. Hermie

i concur. with my limited experience the males grow bigger, faster...and show their sex earlier. just my input.

a female won't have any "sex-parts" that big that fast either.

they are already removed and the cat has been munching on them lol she loves the damn things but cant stand smoke lol. I have 4 left that are unknown the one that was small and under watered seems to be male but not sure yet. the other 3 are so far a mystery we shall see tomorrow i will let you know if any thing.

well another male the one i thought was... but the other 3 still not sure yet but 1 more the one with all the secondary growth might have just started showing male too. This blows only fem seeds for me from now on. Hope i end up with something. Man this is stressfull and my yield is dropping by leaps and bounds. I figured my odds would be better because i tried to grow 3 out door plants before this and they all ended up male. MY LUCK SUCKS no more playin the odds for me.

Well ill update you tommow again to let you know the other sexes and such ( we shall see if this grow log even lasts now (all males no reason) oh well peace for now.

you should germ a bunch of seeds, then, once they get a solid root structure you can either put them into flower to force them to show sex, or you can clone for sex. this way you won't be putting all of your seeds into one basket, as it were. then once you have females, clone, clone, clone!

So i over reacted a little when the males showed and the females did not. So it looks like the remaining 3 are all female. a little hard to tell cause the preflowers are so damn small still. one confused me cause i can see a pistle coming out of a calyx and on the opposite side what looked like a very small ball. hope its just a swollen calyx. Oh but in the midst of the freak out i did order seeds. from attitude. Very excited. got one of the multi packs with 5 different strains for 10 seeds. Also they threw in a free diesel seed which is great cuz i love diesel.

I'll post again when you can actually see some buds starting to come in any updates to status and what not i will just write. Peace all.

can a plant be herm this early? because i am sure i have seen a calyx with a pistle on one side and what really is starting to look like a ball on the other... also only 1 definite full female must have spoke to soon. cuz now on of them is starting to look more male... depressing a bit. oh well. seeds are on there way.

So i made a veg tub or at least have it started (wanna start some sog) maybe you can tell me any thing i'm missing or doing wrong. i know i need to use a cpu fan for ventilation of some type no problem will do that. main thing is If i run about a month of veg will they stink at that point. Mind you they will never go to flower in the tub. basically asking if you think i need a filter. The lights are 2700k 23watt except the weird looking one its a grow light that was on clearance on an end cap at home depot its an ott-lite a grow 17w costs 12 bucks down from 21 so not to shabby. 132 total wats let me know what you think. the duct tape is cause the tub was semi light permeable so it blocks it with a couple layers of it yes its redneck but what ever lol.




ps. the plants um tons of pistls on the one that sill looks like it has 1 ball is it herm no one ever answered. and 1 of the 3 is starting to look male so i guess its gunna be 2 outa the 3. got my seeds comin gunna get them in the tub. so it shouldn't be to big of a deal.

I could show hermie that early if the seed was from a hermied female.

Learning to clone will resolve your issue with popping so many males. You know what the plant is, and what she should produce like. Good stuffs and worth the time to learn. It's really ver simple... it is a weed, afterall!

Not a major screw-up.
Though you will get more stretch and perhaps a tad less leaf mass they will work for veg.

And, you are right, cool white does have more blue.
2700K is Warm white.
The numbers are degrees Kelvin.
Higher numbers are hotter.
Not about actual heat, more about the colors emitted as thing get hotter.

Read more, buy less.

There are variables.
Strain is the biggie, followed by temperature.
Best to plan on dealing with odor from the beggining.
Ass covering is always a good plan.

You are going to find that it will lose it's sticky when it gets hot.
With 132Watts of flouescents, it will get hot!

the duct tape is on the out side mostly and the inside it isnt holding the lights in or any thing i used silicon to hold them into the Rubbermaid. Guess im just stupid about the light thing assumed soft meant cool oh well ill just supplement my flower cab with them now no biggie. is there a small scale cheap way of dealing with smell do the small home ionizer things work to kill this smell if i put it in the closet with the tub? have one that's why i ask. thx for the help i do read about most every thing before i do, i guess i just remembered wrong while i was standing at the home depot stoned...

Finally some Flowers They are going pretty well have some good looking bud sites one seems to have a lot more then the other. the GF named them both yesterday. The one further a long that i also think might be a herm is named "Henrietta" and the other one is "Gladis". Henrietta has lots of bud sites and undergrowth Gladis everything is still growing at her main stem. oh and a side note Henrietta as Topped Gladis was not.( will be doing it from now on). I got my seeds in From Attitude Great and fast. Green House Sativa Indica Mix C thats what i bought. Started Germing 1-SSH 1- Big bang 1- Lemon Skunk and 1_Diesel (Free seed G13 is Fem too). As of this morning all but the SSH have popped and i will be putting into some medium here shortly. Guess thats all for now here is your pics

the two ladies are looking great imo let me know what you think its about day 25 ish of flower. starting to get some nice crystals and Gladis (the one that hasn't branched) is getting a nice skunky smell. My 4 newbies are all sprouted and appear to be doing well minus a little stretch. had to back down my lights in the grow tub was just too hot. it runs about 86-89 right now with the lights on plants don't seem to mind other than needing water all the time. Found it interesting that All the green house seeds have reddish colored stems. and the one G13 diesel has a green one. Guess thats it took a ton of pics hope you enjoy the bud porn. Oh and i picked up some GDP for the holiday (4/20) its fuckin bomb. maybe ill take some pics and post later.

This is what i got to smoke on for 4/20 some Grand daddy purps not sure why the photo has a pink hue to it the stuff has lots of dark purple and all kinds of crystals. The high is very heady and up which i guess is weird for a purple strain maybe just picked early. lacks a little in taste has a decent smell but the taste is very mellow to non existent at times.


in my space case if your wondering what its sitting in.

happy 420, your grow looks pretty amazing thus far. keep up the good work and thanks for the info about attitude.
