that male poppa is a beast. have you noticed any ill effects from plucking the fan leaves? what about positive effects?

i'm sorry to hear that you are depressed lately. i've kinda been feeling that way too. i hope you snap out of it and everything gets better.

i run full blast till day 49 then i remove the grow....day 53 i remove the bloom.....day 57....i run ph balenced tap water till the end.....i start the flush about 3 weeks before harvesting!

Ive only done a heavy prune like this one....one other time.....i really saw no growth frow the plants till like day 56 of a 63 day strain(CH9 Green Bud) but then at day 56 they snapped out of it and i had my highest yeild to date w CFL's...3/4 lb from 350w of CFL's..i had to run them an extra week but it was well worth it!..the plants go in to shock for a week or so....then explode....timing is key....the bud sites have to have a really nice set of leafs nice and large....im preying for the same result this time....

damn, that was a nice harvest! i've got to get into 'dro, or the darkside as some like to say.

this is only my 3rd grow so trying to perfect my methods for my setup. not to mention i haven't had the same set of variables either. either a different boxes, a change in lighting, nutes etc etc.

i think the hempy buckest are my next move.

you said that you think 1 gallon containers are best?

Killa ~ I'm curious about the strings I see in the pics on the previous page. It doesn't appear to be for LSTing. Is is it just to hold the branches closer to the main cola?

After studying the same pics, yet again, I think I'm getting a pretty good handle on how you pruned the fan leaves. We plan to give the pruning a shot on about 1/2 of our plants and compare the difference.

if your talking about the plants in the top left corner.....they are tied up cause they are too heavy! most of the other ones are for lsting

hey, and everyone gets down sometimes, i been battling depression and shit for a long time. i've found that just taking things a day at a time and being happy with i've got has really helped me out lately. but hey, we all have our days ... you never need me u know where im at.

When your plants are still small (10 days) do they show any purple? I have 2 that are showing purple on the under side of the leaves (1 more than the other), and didn't know if this is strain related.

i dont think so.....i think most of my seeds purple or not are usually purple on the underside of the leafs in the early stages of veg!

let me begin by saying thanks to all the complements.....i really have been down and not myself....even though i have a beautiful garden going and im safe....i guess i shouldnt be this down but life has been crazy of late...

Heres my pics....im gonna start to flush on plant which is almost rip....she is 80% cloudy/10% amber/ 10% Clear....she will get flushed for the next two weeks then pulled down at 56 days....4 plants look like they are gonna go to 63 days and 6 plants will go 70 days....

the Breeding project is looking good....the plants are at 35 days today....and will go till 70-77 days depending on the plants.....

My mothers are already spitting out clones...i pulled 5 cuts of the WW and put 22 cuts of PKx PR in the dome as well.....the problem is these cuts have been in the fridge for 3-4 months.....they look like shit but you never know....i will replace them if needed with cuts from my mothers soon...The PW looks just about ready to get a trimming and the Q balls is about a week out....

ALso all 6 of my own PKx PR f2 germed and are above ground within 3 days.....heres what they look like.....Please enjoy the thread

had a question: you keep cuttings in the fridge for 3 to 4 months? that's nuts, i had no idea. what are their chances of survival? i may do that instead of trying to transport a plant when i move.

THose are being used as mini hempys until i think of what to transplant them into..... they will probably go into 2 qt cotton candy containers for their final resting places

Hey sorry to bother you again but I did what you told me to do with the peat pellets I have 3 Lr2xAk47 (Easyryders) the rots are just starting to come out of the net they are about a inch or a half an inch. I have 2 gallon buckets should i just put them in the 2 gallon buckets wit the mixture of perlite and vermiculite or should i try to find a smaller bucket i tryed to get a 1 gallon bucket but home depot and lowes didnt have any. What is your best opinion??? Also i have 1 empty folgers container that im going to use but what about the other 2...Please get back to me when you can and hope you feeling better today!!

i don't presume to know what your going through, but i've been going through something that sounds kinda similar. i obviously have no idea about specifics, i just meant the depression part.

the 2 gal buckets are fine....the bigger the better but i do feel the 1 gal are the optimal size for what im doing at the moment...SOG Hempy.....before transplanting id remove the screen dont worry about breaking roots....they grow back.....prewet the medium mixture then put pucks in the medium and rewater!

CH9 Mixed Female CFL Hempy Grow

start reading from here....me and dooobster go over almost every aspect of hempy buckets......

So i have like 1 or 2 more questions.. So do i put the pellets in the pre mixed and prewet medium when the pellets are really dry or should i water them to get them moist then cut the screen and plant them??

id leave them on the kinda dry tip before removing the screen

Also for the 1st week they are in there new homes should i just give them water then after a week give them the nutes or how should i go about doing that and what do you use for a feeding schedule??

full strength nutes from day one....i usually feed them daily for the first 3 wks..then every other day...till the end

should i water them with nutes every few days and when do i just give them plain water???

plain water only when your ready to flush......full strength nutes EVERY feeding

Killa, what in the heck has been hapnin' around these parts? I swear you and I started growing around the same time, and I'm still in the back of the class shootin' spit balls while you're teachin' it! Not only are your plants insanely beautiful, but your picture takin' has gotten pretty darn good too.

Shite - I'm pretty much baked solid and leanin' toward bed, but before I get tired of rambling in your log, I have to seriously thank you for the free nutrient sample leads; a couple responded with some serious samples paying only shipping. I should be set for a while now, even after just buying some fish emulsion and some good 1st transplant mix with mycorrhizae. I hope to see some serious root development and growth on some I recently re-planted.

I hope you're doing better, my friend. Life's been a fun roller coaster around these parts too - I'm sorry to see that it's spreading. But, if we didn't have our occasional downs, we couldn't really appreciate the ups? I just hope your downs aren't really downs but just a slight bit less than your ups so you can still appreciate them. Mahalo
