Multi speed blower for Exhaust. Running 4 degrees above ambient.

400 watt hps light and ballast. With a basic 15'' x 10'' aluminum reflector.

Using MG moisture control and MG perlite at 2/1 ratio.

MG all purpose for veg and MG rose food for flowering. Using it all very sparingly.

Will soon have 6 inch wall mount oscillating fans to replace the large box fan.

Day 31 of 12/12 for the micro clones in the 2 liter bottles.

Day 19 of 12/12 for the large indica gal in the blue mop bucket.

Day 3 of 12/12 for the bonsai'ish indica gal in the black pot.

And the random neglected plant in the back corner.

To add to my short, half assed, list of mine,...

I'd like to let ya know that I am PH'ing my water at 6.5, also have some Superthrive on board, not being used during flower of course.

The micro clones are from a random bagseed plant I've already cut down.

The indica dom' gals are from a bag of dank, which rarely comes through. Although I did not get to try some of the seed's Mom, nor get to see it. I'm still excited that it's a possible chance for strong genetics.

Befree- I noticed you said you use MG for roses. I found a large container of that in my barn and thought to use it for the flowering phase for my plants.... do you recommend it... does it work?

Yes,

I am using MG Rose Food, only because that's what is local and cheap in large amounts. If you pay attention to the N-P-K amounts( N = nitrogen, P = phosphate, and K = potash. Those numbers tell you whether it is for vegging or flowering, or all purpose.

Vegging you generally want more N than P. And some trace minerals, which superthrive takes care of.
Flowering calls for more P than N and K. And doesn't need the trace minerals near as much.

Use very very sparingly.

Or go to lowes and pick up a little dropper bottle of Schultz all purpose. It has a high 'P' value, but there is still enough 'N' in the ratio for vegging.

Check out filo6942's first grow. Not his scrog, but his 'starting from clones' log.

He shows how he used Schultz and CFL's to grow some nice meds.

Watered plain 6.5 ph'd water on day 32.

This is only the second day under the 400hps. We'll see dramatic improvement over the next few days.

Subscribed! I am also under 400watt hps. Do you have the fan hitting the light to help the heat? Where did you put the ballast? I have my light 10" from my babies and they love it, how far is your light?

Yessir, I do have the fan at a 45 degree angle, deliberately blowing on the bulb. My 10'' x 14'' passive intake just so happens to be right next to the box fan. been running a high of 79F degrees and a low of 75F degrees with the light on and warmed up.

I do have the light about 12'' to 14'' from the tops, depending on the size of the plant. Wanting a slight bit of stretch so the buds on the indica gal aren't so close to one another.

Hell, 20'' from a 400 hps is still better than the flouro's I had half ass rigged in there. That nightmare is long gone. Glad I was too embarrassed to snap a photo of the mess I called an 'OP'.

looking very very nice. Im interested to see how much they improve by having this 400watt hps. Im finding it a major pain in the ass right now using 7 cfls to flower and promot simi veg and flower. I may upgrade, who knows.

Be, you can tell how long it's been since I've been in the grow logs - I haven't seen your log before now; it's nice to finally see what you've got goin' on, and what you've got goin' on has it goin' on!
