phatsesh seeds first breeds

I was cleaning out my closet in anticipation of some beans which to my dismay have yet to arrive. But in doing so i decided to breed my own strain out of two strains i currently possess.

both are excellent, and true breeding strains. The One or my mother1 is a white strain not sure of specfic strain name, but a gift from a friend who asked that i not release it to anyone. she is one of my all time favorite tasting and smelling strains. her flavor is reminiscent of a good bubba kush yet smoother with an cold like aftertaste and taste just as good on the second hit. the high is definatley indica dominant a great med very relaxing but psychedelic also. even tho i prefer sativas shes my fave indy.

and i was gonna cross her with a dj short vanniluna male well a couple anyway

im tired of typing for now tho, if interested let me kno

The Fathers

out of 5 vanniluna seeds in the dirt we got 5 plants, 3 female, 2 male. and they will be now named vl #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Numbers 1,2 ended up male and 3,4,5 were female.

there seems to be three different phenotypes the first observed will be the long more stretchy of the three and the other is slightly shorter more uniform in growth although nothing really different both tend to have some variegation but not to much. the third however looks like it survived a tornado. so heavily variegated you cant tell its cannabis.

i have yet to fully grow and cure a VL but i did get to taste her at week six and shes looking and tastin pretty kinda blueberry-y with a nice buzz but well have to wait and see for a full report of propper grown and cured. she tasted great the night i got her from the breeder but i was so loaded and smoked so many strains i could not tell u one from the other, there is no swish and spit with bong rips like there is with wine.

father #1 has been stripped #2 has yet to be

i kind of beat them up by having to hold them down for a couple days

here are pics of 5 and 4 hopefully ill remember to get one of 3 4 5 in flower

the mother has been confirmed a white russian.

my main goal is to add vigor to the WR so the seeds from each male will be bred into f3s and then i will cross the f3s to try to reinstill the vigor of the hybrid. taking much care not to cross contaminate. and i may mother anything considered exceptional along the way. this will take a long time at least 5 generations. any input is welcomed as well of questions.

thanks IR although this isnt my first cross its my first time with a goal and the know how. i have crossed my ww into gdp and my master k into haleys comet and have a bunch of F1 that sit there lol

oh and heres the 2 together as juveniles

wow nice buds bro and that experiment will be interesting i've had my eyes on those pots... although they wouldn't work well with coco, unless the watering was automated, because it would dry out too fast. your casey looks pretty similar to mine. what do you veg under?

i suppose most of norcal gets the same casey from oaksterdam, its been pretty popular clone wise and has a heck of vigor, well see how it turns out, I havent found any dried yet though maybe theyre keeping it

right now a 400 hps need a mh bulb no funds

thank you they do look nice, if only you could smell them, but then u would just want to taste them, and then you would ask for some for ur self and i would have to tell you NO.

i put an erkle and headband in them after i bought them cause i had not anything to do () LOL, i didnt have any clones for the experiment, which is the reason for the purchase of the pots.

the erk and 707 were in soil, and it drys faster then normal pots and with the soil water tends to run off more whioch isa pain cayse the dirt sits off the ground the differance in height of the two buckets (conventional vs superroots) see pics. thus harder to bottom feed. at tranplant the erk and 707 did have a root structure similar to the one in the website, not all amassed on the bottom but the container was full of roots to the edge really using the space in the bucket. should have taken pics but will do so at harvest.

with the peat i have much less runoff from better water absorbtion, although im still in the first week i suspect ill have to water more and even more so when the roots build but havnt really noticed much difference yet. if possible ill just increase their normal volume consumption as needed currently both are recieving 8-12 oz of organic nutes every other day.

in the three days of flower the SRCJ seems to have more overall growth then the CBCJ (conv bucket). hopefully this adds to yeild.

from what ive seen thus far, i think SR pots do what they say as far as rooting and their claims. soilless seems to work much better than soil although both have had good results. i think you would probly get kick ass results in coco.

yeah I think you're right. those clubs are smoking up all the casey for themselves because all i ever see is the cuts.

coco would probably kick ass in those pots on an automated drip. right now in my 1-2 gallon pots I water every day with 1/2 gallon each + nutes. I really want to go aeroponics on my next grow though how much are those pots?

pics of the casey day 10 hair cut

heres the casey at day 10
so far no noticeable differance although i didnt think there would be one as the roots are still reaching the edges of the pots. i think any differance will be most noticeable in finish weight and size of flowers.

the vl 1 male has clusters forming already day 5 flower, he also got a cut ill take pics at lights on

forgot to mention last time that the CJ's were 17" now they are 25" thats a change from approx. 1" a day for the first ten days to 2" a day thereafter could be from the haircut maybe.

oh and the male ugly variegated guy that he is, has pretty flowers and a quik onset with nice structure, and the flowers are covered in trichs I saw them twinkling in the hortilux full spec which made me grab my spectacle to take a closer look and there they where.

well at this point the regular bags are outperforming the super roots pots, in appearance anyway, the only real noticable differance is the superoots pots fan leaves are turning yellow much faster. this maybe a result of no nutes building on the bottom of the bag? and slight diff in bud formation though not enough to call it at this point.

i just completeley rebuilt my room, hope it goes well. had to blackout a window ac (pain in my ass) its not perfect but i think it will work i think i see light shining off something thats shining off something else if i press my face to it at a 90degree angle but i got a 76F at canopy top 10 inches from my 1000w

the experiment

so the plants in the superroots pots much thinner looking. the final pics are of the bottom branches and the comparison although kinda hard to tell from the pics is across the board traditional vs SR

also the SR pots seem to have a nute deficiency also on an up note they do seem to have more trichs by a stronger overall sparkle
