Heres a shot of my NYCD.... we are in week 8 of flower it has 2-3 more weeks still left

I'm jealous. Whenever I have a plant that big in a pot that small it's a daily battle to keep the soil chemistry okay. You got any tips you'd share? That is soil, isn't it? How are you doing that? Hermie

I'm using Sunshine Pro mix #4 Sun Gro Horticulture | Products | | Mix # 4 Aggregate / LA 4

I always use 1/2 of what the direction call for when it comes to fertilizer....you avoid burns and lockout this way

I use greenleaves ferilizers with a built in PH monitor Hydroponics, Indoor Gardening Supplies, Hydroponic Systems - home @ a rate of 1 cap full per gallon of water.

Directions call for 1 oz per gallon.... I'm adding a 1/3 - 1/2 a oz per gallon....I use the grow juice once a week in veg... the bloom juice everytime I water in flower

No pics but I have a small NYCDiesel also. It is the largest of my little clones. It will have about 1/2 oz but it was in a 2" cube a month ago. I have several nice small ones like this but the NYCD is the largest. I will get to try a 1/4 oz or so of silver russian, hindu skunk, purple erkle, alice, mazar and a few others that were orphans and I received as gifts. I have tried to clone to have these types avaliable for the future but they were all budding so it will be hard to get them back to veg.

I bet ya that I get about 6-8 oz off that NYCD...it still has about 2-3 weeks yet...Smells like grapefruit....havent had a tast yet

This is a very healthy strain .....it will double in size when you cut the lights

Pretty lady! I have some of Soma offspring also now in 4th week of bloom. Looking forward to seeing them finish. Those photos are inspiring and I hope my ladies turn out as nice as yours. Did you do any clipping (for more branches and colas) or did you let it grow into the single cola?

I didnt trim anything it just grew that way

ya, the book says tart citrus or ruby red grape fruit.. i believe soma does his grow reports in 1-3 gal pots, it is good to see it still has the potential you push it to indoors

dam vape those are looking fat!!! how long do you veg for??? do you find that longer flowering strains produce more?

The early flowering ones have definitely stopped veg and will not have as much quantity as the later flowering ones. But usually the early flowering are the nice purple kush or afghan goo and are know for not having that big of a harvest. I want to find the plants with 27% thc. They say they are slow growing and lower yield but that does not matter to me. I just want the most bomb stuff on the planet. I wonder if they can grow some weed from those 7000 year old seeds.

I vegged for 3-4 weeks.....I find that the ones that flower for 9-10 weeks like sour d gave me 8 ozs.... So yes so far the longer flowering ones produce more

I vegg my purple kush for 6 weeks twice as long as the NYCD then flower for 7 weeks and only get 4 oz

Your plants are looking so beautifull.

I did grow NYD for two years ago.

On the top photo in the post I see string to support, circling the plant. Do you clean up the plant below and around the support circle? It looks great. Would it be ok to get some tips from you on this as it looks like it does a plant well and lets the little stems below get some growth as well.
