Thanks buddy! Seems my PH issue sorted itself out for now atleast...

I set my timer to 12/12 today. I know that my Blue Mystic is not mature yet, but the clone is starting to grow like crazy and I need to get the flowering process started before she outgrows my cabinet.

So, I guess tomorrow will be Day 1 of flowering.

I gotta go double check my light traps and start mixing some flowering nutes solution!

Glad pH seemed to manage on this grow.. i threw mine in flowering 2 days ago..still no balls or pistils, but took couple clones anyways...mixed nutrients last night..now its a waiting game from here on out hah...deff. investing on lights next go around and will be using CFL's for sides. Can't wait to see next update and find out what they are

Well the clone is female and the seed is feminized so that will be female as well

just a waiting game from here and feeding every 3 days or so. Water only on every 3rd feeding.

Using molasses at 1tbsp/Gal from here on out. Actually been using 1/2tbsp up until now my plants seem to love it and I'm sure the Mg helps.

Day 2 12/12

Just a quick update. I decided that I will try an experiment and use my veg T-5's about a week to week and a half into flower to reduce the stretch. I'm hoping that the 12 hours darkness will still trigger flower even though I'm using the color spectrum for veg.

I also switched to my flower nutes - Age Old Bloom. Used 1tsp/Gal and 1Tbsp/gal of molasses.

As you can see I have started LST to keep them very short.

AWw helll yea man you'll be okay as long as your timers on 12/12 and no outside light no other light spectrum can fuck with it. i got a 150 hps too, but ima get a 175w mini MH to Give my cab a kick for next cycle

12/12 Day 8!

Afghan is showing some pistils, not sure if you can see them in the pictures but they are there

. Blue Mystic still not showing alternating nodes and is plugging along in veg still - does not seem to mind the 12/12 not stretching very much at all.

Day 11 of Flowering...

My Afghan clone is spitting out more hairs and starting to progress quicker, although I expect it to be a runt and not produce much. We'll see. The Blue Mystic is still in veg I believe, has not shown its hairs yet and I dont see any preflowers. It is staying very compact and is developing tons of secondary growth despite the 12/12 light schedule.

I'm very disappointed though because looking back at my previous grows this one is very small in comparison and I don't expect the same yield

. I'll be lucky to get more than an ounce.

But hey, this is a learning experience for me still, even after 4 grows. When I upgrade I will have this 100% dialed-in.

Yo Bomb, how would you compare your last 2 grows with the HPS to your first 2 grows with only the T5? ....as far as yield is concerned....

Hey Jboogs - my yield has been just slightly better with the HPS (maybe 1/4oz more out of same space and pots). The advantage to the HPS is more of the density of the buds more than the actual yield. I also think the quality is better. Drawbacks are high heat from the HPS, and uneven distribution of light compared to the T5's.
