Thread: New Wave T5 Grow...IM NOW A BELIEVER !!

I too like the T5 setup for veg. Currently i use 2 - 105watt 6500K CFL's for my vegging. I have a small Med garden so I only flower with a 430 watt hortilux hps. I would like to go to a 400 watt T5 for veg and a 600 watt hortilux for flower, someday when I have a little extra scratch.

I flower and Veg with my T5 and get great results. I have a mixed spectrum 4 x2 ft.

I was extreamly impressed wth my results, Gotta love the No heat factor. It works well in my Box.

There are 2 kinds of T5 tubes.One is like the oldfashioned,just stronger(and thinner),kind of HO.Then there is "Compact T5 tubes"
These are double and on 55 watt each.One unit usually consists of 2 or 4 compact double T5´s.THESE are the ones to buy.Today they can be bought for the price of an oldfashioned tube some time ago.
Usually they are in a mixed spectrum too.One doubletube is cool white,and the other cold white.
But the other T5´s are absolutely also good to use.It has become more easy and cheap to light da ladies.!

yup all 3000k warm and i dont grow to sell...i just look at it as Im saving myself this money by not going out to buy...so what better to invest the $$ in a good efficient grow light!!

i have a 8 4ft ho t5 setup.. i have 4 3k warm and 4 64k bulbs t5s is that ok to mix and match... and would this be good enough to bud with???

Plant's look great! I just recently purchased a T5 bank of light's and I must say my plant's look pretty close to the same, they to have been under the T5's for about two week's. How long before switching over to a mh or hps lighting sytem, 400 watt or just go with 1000 watt, I have both system's available.

Wow, I went through the whole thread looking for a harvest and got none..
How are you going to show all this progress and never show the yield??

Am I the only one that noticed the year and a half difference in post dates about half way up the page?

How many weeks in after getting the clones did you start budding? Or maybe easier question how long did you have them in veg before you started 12/12? Also what was your light schedule for veg? 18/6 or 24?

I know this is old but this is a sketchy thread at best. Magilla is back in the game outdoors and looking for a stealthy indoor....T5 or not to T5, that is the question.
