how are the bottom buds doing doesnt seem like to much light is getting through the bottom? pics is always a plus.. but goddam those plants look nice

rustafa; the bottom buds dont get too much light...I had to trim back the leaves today in order to let some light into the canopy!! I think these plants do look pretty good though...I myself still cant believe Im getting all this from a "fluoro".

yes i couldnt concord with you more that looks amazing for a floro grow and watching this post your going to make me buy the same exact one you got just two questions even though i know you must have answered them before in previos posts.

1. how far can you keep the lights away from the top of your plants.
2. what kind of bulbs did you use for the whole grow or did you use different bulbs for veg and flower.
3. did those start from seedling or where they clones.
4. do you think the plants would be better with those lights if you toped them a couple times.
5. does your closet stay closed or open thoughout the day
6.can i have some of those tasty treats : )

p.s. sorry bout all the questions just tring to get this down to a T.

RUSTAFA; Hey there buddy! Ask away!! Im glad to help!!

1. They say that these light can be 3-6 in from your plants...During veg I kept my lights 1 1/2 in from the tops...now that they are in budding 3in or so...not really because of heat but better distribution of light...Note: you will have to move this lamp several times a day during veg..so watch out....even if you forget there not much to worry about!! You should only recieve minor burns!!

2. The grow shops sell this light with your choice of lamp...cool white or warm red...i went warm red the whole way!!

3. These babies were from clone....My buddy that has the clone room slacked off a little and fucked up the nutes at the begging and stressed the babies out...when i got the they had purple stripes on their stalk!! I worked some magic though, of course with the help of the grow gods!!

4. Yes!! Remember that this is my first hands on experience with this light, therefore have to tweak it a little bit!! Im either pinching the next round or using a screen!! Still trying to decide!! I am defintley cutting all bottom branches on the next round!!

5. My closet remains closed the majority of the day!! (my GF says the system makes too much noise! I actually like the sound!!) I have a large exaust fan in the window leading to the backyard. When I close the door this fan sucks the clean air from the room from under the door!! So if you think about it no smell escapes!! When the fan goes off at 6pm you would think a skunk just came and took his daily piss!!

6. Yeah man let me fax them to you!! (Hey moderators that was a JOKE!!)

Wow, those bud's seem to be coming along really well. I just can't wait to see the harvest day pics lol. Those looks so good I think I'm going to try and use that same light except for a soil grow. If I get results like that or better I might just keep that light instead of buying a HPS .

That's one crystally bud! I wonder if you used about 10 of these lights in a large scale grow room if it would be good... I think the lack of heat would be really nice. I guess you could use those yo-yo light lifts to make the maintenence a little easier.

I think if your plants were al the same strain they would all be more evenly closer to the light. Especially if you used a sea of green from the same mother they'd all be set distance from the lamp and get even distribution.

The electricity bill seems better aswell.
