    Which bit is the bud?

    Hi all,

I'm at harvest time now (amber trichs around), but I'm having trouble identifying the buds from the small leaves just around them. It seems like it's just small leaves and then smaller leaves and that's about it. Should I be trying to remove anything that looks like a leaf? I'm concerned about removing something that I should be keeping.

    Thanks

You haven't told us your STRAIN, however that would describe quite a few; such as Hula Buddha; a Sativa Dominant, 10% Indica. LET IT GROW/MATURE; You'll know eventually! Then LOOK for The RESINS!

No it's ready. Amber trichs. I more concerned about whether small leaves with resin on should be kept or cut off.

BTW it's either AK47 or Northern Lights

The small leaves are often not removed entirely, but cut back to the point where they appear "frosted". The resin glands contain the active ingredients, so a heavily frosted small leaf is an acceptable bit to smoke, although proper curing is more important for flavor.

If it is for me. Do not cut off any trichomes.

If to sell. Then a closer hair cut may be in order.

Those small leaves can be taken off after drying when the bud and hairs shrink.

OH, I almost forgot. Show us yours and I will show you mne. It's NL.
