ok my mums fella was given a cannabis plant from a friend none of us have any idea how to look after it and so ive dcided to look into it rather than just let the poor bugger die.

its currently sat on our kitchen windowsill both day and night, i have no idea what soil it is in and a few of the leaves have a few little brown patches. my mum gave it some "feed with ease" for exotic plants could this be causing a nutrition problem?

i know there are hundreds of noob instructions which im currently reading i just find it easier to have a few emidiate questions answered asap. cheers guys.

Go to your local hardware and get the best potting soil they have. Replant in good soil in about a gallon container. Might look at some cfl's to augment the lighting. Don't worry about nutes too much. Good soil will do most of the work. Molasses will help. When the plant is big enough move it to closet or someplace where you can control lighting and put it on a 12/12 cycle to start the budding.

Thanks, any idea what type of cannabis plant it is? there are 2 pictures on my profile no idea how to link it yet i only signed up yesterday not expecting a great deal from it but its something interesting to do. Probly the best way to get people into gardening really lol thanks again
