Hey guys please tell me i'm OK, and that im just bugging out...

few questions I need answered before I can perceed:

I've got around $300 in a setup and now (working wonderfully)...I have no criminal background or record except speeding fines...I'm bugging out about the cops though so bad!!! I almost flushed my baby seedling! One past by my apartment tonight and through my blinds it looked as though their was a flash of light (like a camera, not car lights), also bugging about a few other things as well.

*do thermal imaging devices ever use a flash, if so why?! or am i bugging out?!

*Also, how safe/private (from law enforcement) is it to post on this website or others? Can they track it and all that shit without a warrant? I read somewhere that the patriot act deals with terrorists but its broad enough that they can use it to gain information about marijuana because politicians beleive all marijuana and drug sales support terrorists in the end... f%$# that, if i grow im not doing it sell but for personal use.

*Why do I have to pay with cash? i bought the cabinet with a debit card.
I don't get it, and people are talking about websites to buy hydro nutes and im scared because they might be able to track it, and I already ordered some nutes from online not knowing. am i ok? I need some assurance otherwize im going to shut down... by paper-trail do u mean that they can look at anytime to see what I've bought or do they need a warrant for that? (if they dont then that F#$%ing pisses me off!)

*I also would like to see a picture of LED lights under a IR imaging device. everyone says they are low heat but can they still show up? where locally/ and what can i get to block IR? by locally i mean like walmart or lowes.

*also i have a one bedroom home and my electric bill is around $80-90 that high for this size home?

*also i have a few party lights, can that lead to anything?! i have lava lamps that give off green glows and i can see the green glow from outside on my blinds... (i also have some black lights, and red rotating lights, they are not on all the time just when people are over, or i have a party)

*What should i watch out for, with cops? what do i do if a cop knocks on my door? do i have to answer?

*last question got me thinking... do they need to give your 24 hour notice about a search? what if your not home to be informed do they go in anyway? that would be f#$%ed up.

Im new to indoor growing and I am concerned about many similar things, most notably can a police helocopter positivly ID my grow room if its a well venteleted 400W grow cabinet?

calm down heir are a couple things you can do. First off you live in an apartment I was in apartment maintenance you want to be careful keep your grow box locked in a closet that dose not have any utility pips like water because they can come in your house with out permission if it is an emergency I have had to do this many times before. You have to cover your Windows real good if light from your grow room will be visible through your blinds try using black out curtains and double them up or something just no light leaking where people can see its not good especially if you are using hps lamps they put out an Orange glow which is different from household lighting..You will need some sort of carbon filter. LEDs are a good choice if you are worried about heat which if you live in an apartment it would be more difficult to vent
hid grow. I do not know where you live but where I live you do not open the door to the police if they have a search warrant they will see their self in. If you open the door they can say they smell weed and come in even if it dose not smell like weed. I have never heard about an IR unit flashing but who knows. I do not think they are trying to bust a guy with a couple of seedlings unless you told someone and they told the police. Be safe do some research on growing and hiding your grow and you should be fine.

Wow, we live in a world where having 2 lava lamps makes you look like a criminal.

Still have some above questions that are unanswered, I'm sure there are many others who would love a clear answer to the questions above (with sources would be nice.)

Another question that I just thought of, if cops get a warrant and knock on your door; if you flush the plants and evidence of any plant being there and all they find is a small grow cabinet set-up (which could be for any type of plant)... what will happen? If its a false warrant, do i get compensated? or is it like "oh ok have a nice day..." Can i get a lawyer for anything?

Also if they get a warrant for a possible growing set-up and they find things like a water pipe, and other things do they still have the right to prosecute for them or do they need another warrant? If so they would need time to get the warrant which means you would have time to get rid of all of it, even though they saw it?

they would need a significant amount of evidence to search your app. The would pretty much need first hand evidence its there, Paper trails don't provide warrants nor do people claiming that its there if they knew. However, if u got caught selling or with bud, and they had that kinda stuff on hand they would probably be able to come up with a warrant. Don't worry about heat, they cant do nothing about it, u cant possibly be running enough electricity to raise a flag, and seal up ur box, NO LIGHT should leave it, and u need to cover the windows up if u open the box

If it makes you feel better, ive had 2 friends use 1000W+ in 1 bedroom apartments with E bills around 400 a month. It's not the actual temp of room the IR picks up but basically right in middle of bulb b/c the HPS/MH burn around 2000F. I would use some IR blocker that you can get from a local indoor garden supply. If you do use it, you will need to line full room to about 1ft off of the floor. Kinda pricy but it's "supposed" to work.

1. Don't have party's or even be stupid at all.
2. Don't tell ANYONE!!!!!! Really cant express that one enough.
3. Stay as far away from trouble as possible, this would include- NO FIGHTS, NO SMOKN N DRIVIN. I mean its really common sense.
4. STAY PARANOID- It's actually good if you are aware of your surroundings and scared basically.

Im to the point where i dont even hang out with people b/c ive had experiences over the last 4 years, and learned to not TRUST NO ONE. And if you do harvest, say "IT CAME FROM A FRIEND" otherwise you defeat the whole purpose.

That's all i feel like typn on that subject, Good Growing and stay smart!

EDIT: One of my friends was HORRIBLE with security, their was 10+ people that knew about it who were sketchy, Girls, Friends friends. OMG he didnt pay his E bill for 3 months. THIS IS WORST CASE SCENARIO HERE. got cut off. Was getting a E bill for $900.00. HAHA Bottom line- i stopped hanging out with him and got him to delete my name,MSG;s and phone number from his phone. IT WAS STUPID, and hopefully he can be succesfull with it.

Your mouth is your worst enemy. As far as Infrared , if they use it and they don't have a warrant to , then it's an illegal search (check your local laws to make sure). They have to have a very good reason ,i.e: probable cause in order to obtain a search warrant.As far as buying lights , nutrients , etc. chill out , the cops have much more pressing things to do than worry about a closet grow-op.The main thing is to keep your eyes open and your mouth shut.
