funny story about 240's...
friend of mine stole one once... my bro convinced me to go to houston, saying it'd be ok, to chill with our other bro. reluctantly i got in the car. got there fine, on the way back however, right when we were almost home (like 5 miles at the most?) a trooper flashed his lights. the funny part is he wasn't trying to pull us over, but the truck infront of him.
so knowing hte car is stolen the friend took off... managed to lose the trooper by ducking off onto an off ramp at the very last second (literally the last second, if he had waited even 1 second longer or turned just a bit less sharp, we woulda hit the gaurd rail head on) later he caught up, but this was like 10 mins in... we were on long straight roads tho or i would made this dumb ass stop and let me out right there (i did keep telling him to pull the fuck over.... but he wouldn't) the trooper still had a plain view of us...
skipping alot (the full story i've already posted, if you want i'll track it down, just say so) going 120 (we were at that speed pretty much the whole chase, and this is stock too.. to this day, becuase of that night i want a 240.. it was one of hte older ones tho.. like a 92, longer camaro type body style) the dumbass decides to make a direct 90 degree turn onto a 2 lane feeder road... real wheels lose traction and start sliding for the ditch... back end hits the ditch first... 2 1/2 flips (2 flips long ways [front end over rear end], only half a flip length ways and land upside down...
he busts out the window and takes off running, me and my bro lay on the ground, knowing of course running will fuck up our story... before any of this it had been unanymously decided if anything were to happen, our friend stole the car, but told me and my bro it was bought... he had 4 warrants for stealing cars already (yeah... and after he spent his 6 months in jail, not even 2 weeks after getting out he was in jail againf or the same fucking thing) and me and my bro were clean... no reason we should have to go down with him.
so the cops yank us out the car and call in a couple of k-9's and nearly everyoen on the police force (we live in a relatively small quiet town) to look for him, find him 20 mins later hiding in a boat...
the miraculous part is, the only injuries we sufered was my bruised knees (they slamed together when the rear end hit the ditch) and my brothers head got a knot on it, about liek you'd expect from someone with an average build to cause hitting you on the head... nothign serious, gone the next day by the time you wake up... the crazy thing is i wasn't even wearing a seat belt...
quick thinking saved my life.. i had no seat belt on... so i put one foot on each side of the rear floorboard (you know how it's raised up in the middle) grabbed some handle type thing with my right arm, and pushed my left arm as hard as i could on the roof... it kept me still enough so i didn't go flying when we flipped....
if i could take it back i would, and not just cuz we got caught.. i mean we almost got charged with armed robbery... cuz the friend met a very particular description for a robbery (down to what kinda pants were worn) and it was only 15 minutes prior... since the car wasn't reported stolen they said we were running for no reason... i wanted to slap them and say "hey dumbasses, you went and verified the car was stolen, obviously we knew it was stolen.. guilty conscience yes, but you got us pinned for the wrong kinda guilt"
cops fucked with me over that for a long time...
but yeah, later i found out it was a car from a woman who needed to sell it to make money.. dunno what for tho... i felt bad afterwards of course.... but he just showed up one day in the car.. i had no idea where or who it came from...

I dont have fabtech ifs all hand made by me lol i have 12inch king coilovers in the front and the ibeams are 5inch longer then normal ya its pretty badass i love it!!!!!
