Thread: Bud development

I am 5 weeks into flowering Superskunk x California sativa (Dutch Dope) and I was wondering when I can expect the buds to swell up, right now I have alot of white hairs and 4 big colas but not alot of weight. any information on this strain would be great. I really want to get the most outta my girl.
I'm using a 150 watt HPS, soil grow(Expert Gardener perfect mix),1 teaspoon of (Grandma,s Molasses) per gallon of water, and three floros for extra lighting. The grow space is 2 foot wide x 4 foot long x 6 foot 6 tall.
The strain details says 6 to 8 weeks flowering.

just make sure the soil has alot of phosphorus and you can get a better yield by pruning and staking by tying the branches to stakes so the plant will work more on bud production rather than supporting the weight of the buds

more light......... you have a 2 x 4 x 6 ft area and a 150 watts...for your area to get the proper lumens per sq ft I would be under 400 watter and enclose your growing area to contain the light.....try some mylar tapped to cardboard....square off your area

When I grew in a closet it was 3ft x 6ft x 6 ft I use 2 -400s and it procuded nicely...2500 lumens per sq ft and up produce nice gardens
