Any thoughts on Pure Power Plant?
Anyone had any meaningful experience with Pure Power plant? My experience has been nothing but good.High yeilds ,great cerebral buzz and quite forgiving to grow. If anyone has grown this and experienced it , how does it compare to other hybrid strains?

ive never personally grew it but I had a buddy that grew it for a co op. Some the finest Ive came across. The high was like being shot up into the clouds with a rocket ship. I wish i could get it for the rest of my life because i wouldn't smoke anything else.

power plant
im growing it at the moment.maybe 25 days to go.the buds are getting really sticky and stinky. i got the seeds in my local nirvana shop, they are dutch passion. DEEJAY ...aany tips on flushing this strain??..im coming to the end of the 6th week

I grow Nirvana's PPP. Agreed, its a keeper for me until I find something better. Yield always seems to be good. High is a bit uppy.
I see DP is recommending White Widow (yeah, baby). I also highly recommend the WW from Flying Dutchman. I grew out five femmed seeds and all were consistently great. So far, the one I kept has been the star of the stable. Everyone who has sampled my wares agrees!

this plant is very forgiving to say the least. i usually flush mine about 10 days before harvest, although ,with this plant you have to let it go a bit longer than is reccomended. hope that helps. no nutes at all the last two to three weeks though.

thanks DEEJAY. they are due a feed today, and thats the last one before harvest.i was gonna wait a week but i think ill try somthing new.there starting 7th week on monday....i normally feed them every two days..if i leave feeding them water for 3-4 days over the last two weeks will this help dry them faster..or stress them out

This year let mine go for about 9 weeks before i harvested. The extra little bit of time makes a huge difference both in yeild and potency. I always cut my nutes back to about half strength in the last two weeks ,and then nothing but water for the final few days.I use all organic fertilizers so the tend to leach from the plant a bit quicker and don't leave a chemical taste.

I personally wouldn't flush until the beginning of the 9th week. That being said , it has been my experience with this plant that regardless of the week you're in , the plant itself will tell you what you need to know with regards to harvest. Mine are grown under 400 watt HPS in a 3 1/2 x4 1/2 grow closet .If you are using some other form of light ,I can't say how long ,you just have to look at your plants carefully and what I did this past year was wait until I thought they were ready to harvest and started my pure water only for one more week. The results were impressive to say the least.

had a friend grow it, was lanky and thin, nothing special at all, but it was possibly crossed with a couple of other strains that sure turned out nice..it's all preference..never know if you'll like it unless you try it..plenty of life left, why not, right??

i'm glad I could be of some help. as is that is one of the better strains out there. Give her the time and she will make you smile. I am the proud new owner of a hydro system (which ,by the way , i ain't real crazy about) that was given me by a fellow smoker who relayed to me that last years crop (of which he sampled) was the best he'd ever smoked.Upon trying mine , he just gave me his equipment and said that I could do better with it than he could. Right or wrong as he may be , I told him that appreciated the gesture as well as the compliment ,but i refused anything more than the compliment ,but nevertheless , he also sent me over 200.00 worth of hydro nutes to go with it.I graciously denied both and sent them back because I ain't about growing this for financial gain. I just like to see folks loving my art , and this plant makes that a quite easy task. Enjoy your crop.

he now has everything back (or actually did give me) that he wanted to give me. I am not sold on hydro although some are. Kinda funny in a way when you think about it.Normally you don't think of "old" guys smokin, but it happens. He's a nice guy that just loves to smoke and I personally think the world of him, but I grow my own way ,in soil, and I don't see the need to change when whatever I'm doing works just fine.

im of the same opinion when it comes to growing..if it works for you keep it up..some of my mates have moved from soil to hydro methods..some with good and bad results..i like to taste weed grown well in soil, its just my preference..your friend sounds cool.hang on to him..good friends are hard to come by... i cant wait to smoke this pp.you have wetted my appetite. happy growing

First grow started three weeks ago. Pure Afghan was a bust due to over water and ph lock out. Second round is Satori and PPP. 100% germination with the PPP and VERY healthy and agressive growth in the plants under CFL. A bit concerned because after almost three weeks the plants are less than 6" in height although they have three sets of alternating leaves!!. Are the lights too close perhaps? They are in soil, ( Stinkys recipe) but in a very hot atmosphere (85+-). Just started to show sex signs at the nodes but I need a scope to read them. Maybe I sould start a thread as I have learned quite a bit reading the adventures of others. Thanks and Props to you all.

You really need to lower those temps a bit .You will absolutely fall in love with this plant once you've grown it a couple times. It seems to have varied spurts of growth as well as flowering , but the yields are well worth the wait. This one seems to have it all , including fantastic taste ,potency and ease of cultivation. You will probably be a lifelong grower of it after this experience .By the way , all organic fertilizers seem to give the best results. Happy growing!!
