Okay pros. I am going for the Psychoactive high not the couchlock. I got me a 30X scope. The triches are clear with a few yellowish tented ones. I am 45 days into flower. The pods are swelling lower to middle of the bud with hairs. I just wanna hit that window of opprtunity for the psychoactive effect. Growing Northern Lights Crossed with WW or something else not sure. The seed website isnt specific on it. Would harvesting at the end of the 7th week be too early. What do you guys think, or would I be losing out on bud that could have gotton more potent!

Well - I would say start flushing in a couple days. Do a nice thorough 5-7 day flush starting on day 49. That way, you got a good 8 weeks in before you chop so they should be fairly done but not too done. WW takes a long time - like 8-10 weeks but the NL is shorter. The 8 week mark should put you in a good spot. BTW - I am not an expert but I think you will like the results. I like the more sativa type high also so I pretty much start flushing at the first signs of amber.

Your trivhomes should be 80 percent cloudy over all. A few amber a few clear. It will blast you. Mostly clear is early but a more energy high. BUT you lose some bud size. Start yor flush like tomasinho says. Plants will flush and eat up whats in the leaves. You will have a good clean taste.

Yeah I was kind of thinking that too. I will start my flush day 49!

I have been all over looking for a 30X scope. Now you are talking Microscope, right?
All the ones I have found are like 100X/300X/400X multi Magnification Microscopes, So I bought it, but to powerful. I did find this funky Sorta Micro scrope made for looking at bugs, for children at Toys-r-us. It does not even say what maginication it is. But I am sure it is not enough. So either I have to much, or to little magnification. Tryed Radio Shack, Toys-r-Us, through the mall shops, Art Supply store, pawn shops

I got mine at the shack for 10 bones!

HOT DAM!! I like that scope.
How well can you see? Does it work pretty well.

Can you take any photos with it, in anyway. I figured out how to take a Sorta close picture, with my crappy digital camera. Which usually will not take a picture closer then 3 feet. I gutted one of the scopes I bought. Check it out.. LMAO, not a total waste of money for those two scopes. I just hold this one peace over my camera lens, and take about 5-7 pictures at different heights. Then hopefully one will turned out.

Oh P.S. Any idea what this Bud might be? I am sure it is an Indica, but it was some bag seeds I had. I grew it because the bud was so dam good. That I figured, if it wasted a bunch of its energy making the few seeds I got. well, It should be even better, if I made sure to kill the little pricks before they started spreading their Evil.

and it is a 60-100x scope. I have one for 2 years now.

I have the same 60x one from radio shack its just hard to try and look at the tris on the bud itself!

Anything with that much magnification, will be hard to keep steady with out at least a try-pod, or maybe even a single pod.
At that magnification, the smalliest movement will seem like a football field.

I have a 10X glass, that works pretty good for the buds on plant. But even then, it is hard to get steady enough. And then the magnification is not close enough to see the Trich's. I have always used the leafs right next to the bud to look at. Any better way to see the plant at 50X +++ magnification?

LDB is right on his method. Just pick a leave that is right in the bud and your good to go. You dont have to break this down into a perfect science.

I have one of those radioshack 60-100X scopes also. If you put the scope right onto the bud while holding the bud steady from the branch you get a pretty good view of the action.
