Thanks for replying. I did say I am Novice ( what's rez temp mean ) ph is 5.5 . growing in Flora Gro, Flora Micro, Flora Bloom. Bio Mineral Nutrient System. Growing in black plastic buckets, roots are blocked from light, ( is that ok ). Clay Balls, outside pump piped into bucket with airstone. Using 600 bulb 2ft above , available in same room is 2 x 250 watt bulbs. How am i doin and whats going wrong.

sounds like you have over waterd them and they have some kind of damping of or root rot how old are they,your set up sounds cool

4 weeks. how far should the water level be from base of basket. Should i still be on 18 hrs light.

Can you supply some sort of photo? It's really hard to get an idea without knowing all the specifics....what are you feeding.....ph is good....what is the water temp (rez temp) what kind of lighting, temperature of room......everything you can tell us.

Before i get a photo, last week i had all the lights on and the water got nearly hot. since then gone back to just 600

That doesn't sound good....is that when all your problems started?

I think so. Can I have put too much water in bucket, just below basket? Over watering them. Will they pick up now i am back on 600?

You need to get that water temp down to 70 or below. If your roots are real bad you can cut them off just below water level and take out bad stuff. H2O2 will help alot. The root cut back will only slow you down a few days to a week. AC or a froze plastic drink bottle is what you need. Look up LOC NAR1958. Back last year I cut roots on one just to see what happens. Check it out. Weedhound has got your back. Get a cheap fish tank thermometer to check it.

Hmmmm, those don't look too good for 4 weeks old....how hot did they get when they got overheated? They should be larger at this point unless you have been pruning them alot. You seem to have quite a lot of roots for your plants being that size.

Could be the heat or could be something wrong with your nutrient numbers. I don't use GH nutes so I can't tell you exactly what the number should be.

did you cut all the leaves off the plant on the left? don't do that.

your system should be working. I would guess your water got too hot. Cool it down.
